CIX Announces Comeback Date With Schedule For "'GO' Chapter 1 : GO Together"
Mark your calendars for CIX’s return! On August 14 at midnight KST, CIX officially announced the date and details of their upcoming comeback next month. Before going their separate ways in November, PURPLE KISS will be releasing their first-ever English album at the end of the month. On August 14 at midnight KST, PURPLE KISS dropped the first teaser for their upcoming English-language album “OUR NOW,” which is due out on August 31. Earlier this month, RBW announced that PURPLE KISS would be disbanding in November after four years together. However, the agency also stated that in the months ahead of their official disbandment, the group would be releasing an English album, promoting in Japan, touring the United States, and holding a concert in Korea. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications! &TEAM earned their first-ever RIAJ million certification for their Japanese single album “Go in Blind,” which has had over 1 million units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped, platinum at 250,000, and million at 1,000,000. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN’s new Japanese single album “YOI” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 units shipped in Japan. TXT’s new Korean album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” and PLAVE’s Japanese debut single album “Hide and Seek” were both certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped each in Japan. Finally, IVE’s new Japanese EP “Be Alright,” RIIZE’s latest Korean album “ODYSSEY,” and TWS’s Japanese debut single album “Nice to see you again” were all certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped each. EXO's Suho Confirmed To Make Solo Comeback In September
It’s official: EXO’s Suho will be making his solo comeback soon! On August 13, JTBC Entertainment News reported that Suho will return in September with a new solo album. In response to the report, Suho’s agency SM Entertainment stated, “Suho is preparing for a solo comeback in September. Please look forward to it.” This will mark Suho’s first solo release in one year and four months, following his third mini-album “1 to 3,” which was released in May of last year.
