&TEAM, ENHYPEN, TXT, PLAVE, IVE, RIIZE, And TWS Earn RIAJ Million, Platinum, And Gold Certifications In Japan

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications! &TEAM earned their first-ever RIAJ million certification for their Japanese single album “Go in Blind,” which has had over 1 million units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped, platinum at 250,000, and million at 1,000,000. Meanwhile, ENHYPEN’s new Japanese single album “YOI” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 units shipped in Japan. TXT’s new Korean album “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER” and PLAVE’s Japanese debut single album “Hide and Seek” were both certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped each in Japan. Finally, IVE’s new Japanese EP “Be Alright,” RIIZE’s latest Korean album “ODYSSEY,” and TWS’s Japanese debut single album “Nice to see you again” were all certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped each. MOMOLAND Confirmed To Make Long-Awaited Comeback This September

MOMOLAND is officially returning to the music scene this September! On August 13, EDaily reported that the group will release a new song on September 8, marking their long-awaited comeback. In response to the report, their agency Inyeon Entertainment confirmed the news, stating, “MOMOLAND will make their comeback on September 8. Please look forward to it.” They added, “Filming for the music video has already been completed. Further details will be announced at a later date.” This will be MOMOLAND’s first comeback in about three years and eight months, following their 2022 collaboration track “Yummy Yummy Love” with Dominican singer Natti Natasha. In January 2023, the members parted ways with their former agency MLD Entertainment after their contracts expired. TWICE's "Strategy" Continues To Rise On Billboard Hot 100 For 3rd Week In A Row

For the third consecutive week, TWICE’s “Strategy” soared to new heights on Billboard’s Hot 100! On August 12 local time, Billboard revealed that TWICE’s 2024 hit “Strategy” had risen to a new peak of No. 69 on the Hot 100, its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States. “Strategy” rose to No. 74 on the chart last week after initially debuting at No. 92. “Strategy,” which was originally released in December 2024 but has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity due to its inclusion on the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack, is TWICE’s highest-ranking full-group song to date on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s version of the “KPop Demon Hunters” original song “Takedown” also climbed to a new peak of No. 66 in its fifth consecutive week on the Hot 100.
