August Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for film actors! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular movie stars, using big data collected from July 19 to August 19. Jo Jung Suk, who most recently starred in the box office hit “My Daughter Is a Zombie,” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,552,801. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “My Daughter Is a Zombie,” “king of hits,” and “box office,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “trusted,” and “success.” Jo Jung Suk’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.97 percent positive reactions. Lee Byung Hun held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,090,567, while Lee Jin Uk jumped to third with a score of 3,399,641. Kim Nam Gil shot to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,157,0333, and Lee Jun Hyuk came in at a close fifth with a score of 3,088,321. Check out the top 30 for this month below! JYP Shares Update On Legal Action Against Malicious Posts About Stray Kids
JYP Entertainment has issued a new statement and warning regarding its legal action on behalf of Stray Kids. On August 19, the agency released the following statement in English: Hello, this is JYPE. We would like to update you on the status of legal proceedings regarding acts that infringe upon the rights of our artists. We have repeatedly announced our policy of taking firm action against cases that violate fundamental rights, such as personal rights, in order to protect our artists. Based on evidence gathered through fan reports and our own internal monitoring, we are currently pursuing legal action. Recently, we have collected malicious posts and comments from domestic and international online communities and social media channels that defame and insult our artists by spreading false information and malicious slander, and we have recently filed criminal complaints. We will actively cooperate with the necessary investigations by the relevant authorities and intend to take strong civil and criminal measures. As previously stated, there will be absolutely no leniency or settlement during this process. Lee Junho Establishes His Own Agency + Poses For New Official Photos
Lee Junho is embarking on a new journey with his newly established agency O3 Collective! On August 18, Lee Junho’s representatives announced that he founded the entertainment company O3 Collective. The agency explained that its name reflects its philosophy: “It is a creative group where three elements—an artist’s identity (One), originality in content (Original), and management’s system (Orbit)—work together to form a single creative orbit.” The agency added, “We envision a team-based brand system where artists, content, and staff all share the spotlight. We aim to build a business lab centered on intellectual property that allows for unlimited expansion, going beyond a management company, and work together to design and achieve growth and progress for everyone.” Yang Hye Young, who previously led innovative projects at CJ ENM’s Brand Strategy Office and Performance Business Division, co-founded O3 Collective with Lee Junho.
