Koo Kyo Hwan and Go Youn Jung’s upcoming drama “We Are All Trying Here” is gearing up to premiere next month! JTBC’s “We Are All Trying Here” follows the story of a person who, surrounded by successful friends, thinks they are the only one whose life will not work out—driven mad by anguish, envy, and jealousy—as they search for peace. The drama will mark the return of writer Park Hae Young, who received much love for dramas such as “My Mister” and “My Liberation Notes.” Furthermore, the star-studded cast lineup includes Koo Kyo Hwan, Go Youn Jung, Oh Jung Se, Kang Mal Geum, Park Hae Joon, and more. Ahead of the premiere, “We Are All Trying Here” unveiled a title poster depicting Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), whose life is the only one that hasn’t worked out. Preparing to debut as a director for 20 years, his inferiority complex has grown after being surrounded by successful friends in the film industry. In order to hide the worthlessness he feels, he masks his ever-present anxiety with nonstop rambling and bluster. In the poster, Hwang Dong Man hunches over, sitting alone, but his headspace conveys a completely different story. Although he seems to be spending time listlessly and meaninglessly, he is actually taking on a fierce battle to win against worthlessness every minute of every day. This is shown through the large shadow drawn behind Hwang Dong Man, which throws a punch at an invisible force. The production team shared, “The title poster portrays the inner darkness that makes one feels worthless through the visual device of a shadow. Although Dong Man appears to have given up on the outside, there are actually numerous fights continuing within him. We hope that his cry rising from rock bottom becomes a passionate message of support for everyone fighting against their own sense of worthlessness.” “We Are All Trying Here” is set to premiere in April.
"Yumi's Cells 3" Confirms Broadcast Schedule
The beloved “Yumi’s Cells” series is coming back with Season 3! On March 4, a media outlet reported that Season 3 of the popular rom-com drama “Yumi’s Cells” will premiere on April 13 via TVING ahead of its broadcast as a Monday-Tuesday drama on tvN. In response to the report, a representative of tvN confirmed, “‘Yumi’s Cells 3’ will be pre-released on TVING on the afternoon of April 13 then broadcast on tvN.” Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun)—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. In Season 3, the story will follow Yumi, who was once an ordinary office worker, as she becomes a star author after much hard work. Although she achieves great success as a romance novelist who captures the hearts of her readers, love remains the most difficult challenge for Yumi. The village of her cells seems to be in a state of quiet pause with nothing exciting happening until the arrival of Soon Rok (Kim Jae Won), who brings a refreshing change to Yumi’s life. The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual rookie idols! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idols, using big data collected from February 4 to March 4. ILLIT’s Wonhee continued her reign at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 423,246 for March. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “girl next door,” “chaotic,” and “NOT CUTE ANYMORE,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “honest,” and “easygoing.” Wonhee’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 89.58 percent positive reactions. TWS’s Dowoon rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 396,032, marking an impressive 82.80 percent increase in his score since February. KiiiKiii’s Jiyu shot to third place after seeing a whopping 451.13 percent rise in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score to 201,034 for the month. Meanwhile, ILLIT’s Minju held onto her spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 183,976 for March. Upcoming drama “Mad Concrete Dreams” has unveiled a new poster! “Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama that follows Ki Soo Jong (Ha Jung Woo), a struggling landlord who becomes entangled in crime to protect his family and property. While he achieves the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to participate in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real. Ki Soo Jong, a landlord who secured his building by taking out loans to the limit, clings to the hope of redevelopment while walking a financial tightrope. As the ambitions of those connected to the building collide and tensions rise, the situation spirals, and an unpredictable storyline unfolds. The newly released poster captures the hidden desires behind the crossed gazes of the main characters. It shows the anxious look of Ki Soo Jong, the building owner pushed to the edge, and the secretive gaze of his wife Kim Sun (Im Soo Jung), marked by quiet determination.
