March Individual Rookie Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual rookie idols! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idols, using big data collected from February 4 to March 4. ILLIT’s Wonhee continued her reign at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 423,246 for March. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “girl next door,” “chaotic,” and “NOT CUTE ANYMORE,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “honest,” and “easygoing.” Wonhee’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 89.58 percent positive reactions. TWS’s Dowoon rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 396,032, marking an impressive 82.80 percent increase in his score since February. KiiiKiii’s Jiyu shot to third place after seeing a whopping 451.13 percent rise in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score to 201,034 for the month. Meanwhile, ILLIT’s Minju held onto her spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 183,976 for March. Finally, Hearts2Hearts’ Jiwoo rounded out the top five with a score of 164,360, marking a 13.56 percent increase in her score since February. The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,730 idols, using big data collected from January 24 to February 24. BTS’s Jimin held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,805,336. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Who,” and “Like Crazy,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “romantic,” “surpass,” and “record.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.27 percent positive reactions. BTS’s Jungkook rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 6,499,968, while BLACKPINK’s Jennie came in at a close third with a score of 6,416,329. IVE’s Jang Won Young took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 6,209,151, and BTS’s Jin rounded out the top five with a score of 5,881,552. BoA Establishes Her Own Agency + Shares Stunning New Profile Photos
BoA is embarking on a new journey with her newly established agency BApal Entertainment! On March 3, BoA posted on social media, tagging the official account of BApal Entertainment, to announce that she launched her own one-person agency. Previously, she had ended her 25-year partnership with SM Entertainment at the end of last year. The name BApal combines “BoA” and “pal,” symbolizing a company created together by BoA and her friends—that is, BoA and her fans. It reflects the goal of building a structure where artists and fans can connect more closely. BApal said, “We respect BoA’s deep musical vision, and we plan to create an environment where she can pursue her goals in a flexible and natural way.” The company added, “The precious memories and valuable experiences she has gained over a long career are the most important assets that shaped the strong artist BoA is today. Based on these experiences, she aims to further strengthen her musical foundation.” The agency further shared new profile photos of BoA. BoA debuted at age 13 under SM Entertainment in 2000 and has been loved for numerous hit songs, including “My Name” and “No. 1.” She rose to the top in Japan, earning the title of “Star of Asia.” Wishing BoA all the best on her new beginning!
KickFlip’s Amaru To Sit Out Upcoming Album Promotions Due To Health
Amaru will not be participating in KickFlip’s upcoming mini album promotions as he focuses on treatment and rest for his recovery. On March 2, JYP Entertainment announced that Amaru will sit out promotions for the group’s upcoming fourth mini album, scheduled for release on April 6 at 6 p.m. KST, in order to prioritize his health. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who continue to show their love and support for KickFlip. We would like to inform you that KickFlip member Amaru will not be participating in the promotions for the group’s upcoming 4th Mini Album. In order to focus on treatment and rest for his recovery, Amaru has decided, following discussions with the other members, not to participate in this promotion period. Accordingly, the 4th Mini Album promotions will proceed with six members: Kyehoon, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon. ATEEZ's San Unable To Attend Melbourne Concert Tomorrow
ATEEZ’s San will not be able to perform at the group’s concert in Melbourne tomorrow. On March 1, KQ Entertainment announced that due to international flight cancellations, San will no longer be able to arrive in time to attend ATEEZ’s “IN YOUR FANTASY” concert on March 2.
