“Reborn Rookie” tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

A newly released clip from the drama’s first episode captures the moment when Kang Yong Ho first wakes up in Hwang Jun Hyun’s body. After coming to his senses in the hospital, he wanders over to a mirror and lets out a scream of horror when he sees Hwang Jun Hyun’s face instead of his own.

When a doctor approaches him, Hwang Jun Hyun (now actually Kang Yong Ho) asks him, “Who do I look like to you?” The doctor replies, “You look like Hwang Jun Hyun, of course,” leading him to shout in despair, “Why, why, why am I that guy?!” As the doctor attempts to check Hwang Jun Hyun’s physical condition, the clearly distressed patient goes on to ask, “Then where am I?”

Startled by this reaction, the doctor orders another CT scan of Hwang Jun Hyun’s brain. The frustrated Hwang Jun Hyun then asks what hospital they’re in before he takes off running down the hallway. As he makes a run for it, he’s surprised by how well his legs move now that he’s in the body of a young athlete.

CORTIS’s “GREENGREEN” is enjoying a strong second week on the Billboard charts!

On May 27 local time, Billboard revealed that CORTIS’s latest EP “GREENGREEN” was now spending its second consecutive week at No. 30 on the Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. “GREENGREEN” debuted at No. 3 on the chart last week, making it CORTIS’s first album ever to break the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Adding to that achievement, “GREENGREEN” has now become CORTIS’s first album ever to spend more than one week in the top 100 of the Billboard 200.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “GREENGREEN” remained No. 1 on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and World Albums chart for the second week in a row, meaning that it was once again the best-selling album of the week in the United States.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from April 3 to May 3.

“How Do You Play?” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,195,861, marking a 13.81 percent increase in its score since April. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yu Jae Seok,” “Yang Sang Gook,” and “Byeon Woo Seok,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “thankful,” “fun,” and “contribute.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.30 percent positive reactions.

“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 5,240,590, marking a 38.68 percent increase in its score since last month.

“Legend of the Unknown” jumped to third place with a brand reputation index of 4,300,421, marking a 25.40 percent rise in its score since April.

“You Quiz on the Block” took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,007,936, marking a 13.65 percent increase in its score since last month.

Kim Soo Hyun’s Agency Releases Statement On Lawsuit Results And HoverLab Kim Se Eui’s Arrest Warrant

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency has released a statement regarding the lawsuits filed against Kim Se Eui of YouTube channel HoverLab Inc. (hereinafter “HoverLab”).

Hello, this is GOLDMEDALIST.

We would like to provide the following statement regarding the multiple complaints and lawsuits filed by Kim Soo Hyun and our company against Kim Se Eui of HoverLab (Garosero Research Institute).

According to the results of the investigation, the various allegations and evidence raised by HoverLab against Kim Soo Hyun were found to be false. In particular, the KakaoTalk conversations revealed during the press conference were determined to have been fabricated and altered from conversations involving a third party unrelated to Kim Soo Hyun, while the deceased’s voice recordings were also confirmed to be manipulated materials generated using AI technology.

As a result, due to the seriousness of the charges—including violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation through the dissemination of false information), violations of the Act on Punishment of Crime of Stalking, violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of illegally filmed materials and coercion involving such materials), and threats—the court has issued an arrest warrant for Kim Se Eui.

We sincerely thank the investigative authorities for their efforts in uncovering the truth based on objective evidence.

At a press conference one year ago, Kim Soo Hyun stated: “I won’t ask you to believe me. I will make sure to prove it.”

The past year for Kim Soo Hyun has been devoted solely to keeping that promise. At last, through lawful procedures and a thorough investigation, the truth has been proven.
