Last week, the KQ Entertainment boy group made their comeback with the new mini album “ROUTE ZERO : The ORA” and its hard-hitting title track “OKay” on May 19.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that xikers achieved their highest first-week sales yet with the mini album. In the first week of its release (May 19 to May 25), “ROUTE ZERO : The ORA” sold a total of 364,152 copies, breaking xikers’ previous first-week sales record of 327,734 (set by their last mini album “HOUSE OF TRICKY : WRECKING THE HOUSE” in 2025).

MBC’s “Hidden Eye” has apologized for mistakenly using Stray Kids’ Hyunjin’s photo during a past broadcast.

Back in December of last year, the true-crime commentary show mistakenly used a baby photo of Hyunjin instead of a childhood photo of a murder victim.

During a segment introducing a female murder victim who was killed in 2024 at the age of 16, “Hidden Eye” featured photos of the victim during her lifetime—and mistakenly inserted a photo of Hyunjin as a baby.

This error was belatedly discovered by a fan months after the broadcast, leading to fans demanding a correction from the “Hidden Eye” production team.

The show’s production team subsequently responded by apologizing to Hyunjin, fans, and viewers, explaining that they had found the baby photo of Hyunjin on the victim’s phone and mistaken it for a photo of the victim.

The “Hidden Eye” production team stated, “While producing the episode, we used photos saved on the phone that was used by the victim while she was still alive. During this process, we misidentified a childhood photo of Stray Kids’ Hyunjin as a photo of the victim and mistakenly used it.”

“As soon as we learned the truth, we set the episode and YouTube clip in question to private,” they continued. “We also plan to either edit [the episode] or make it private on replay services, including OTT platforms, as soon as possible.”

The production team added, “We will be even more rigorous in our verification and review of materials in the future, and we will take extra caution to ensure that this kind of incident does not reoccur.”

On May 26 local time, Billboard announced that NMIXX’s new mini album “Heavy Serenade” had debuted at No. 182 on its main Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

“Heavy Serenade” is NMIXX’s fourth album to enter the Billboard 200, following their 2023 EP “expérgo” (which peaked at No. 122 on the chart), their 2024 EP “Fe3O4: BREAK” (No. 171), and their 2025 album “Blue Valentine” (No. 177).

Park Ji Hoon topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,255,799 for May.

Byeon Woo Seok took second place with a brand reputation index of 2,896,650, while Park Bo Young ranked third with a score of 2,433,388.

Go Youn Jung jumped to fourth place after seeing a 23.10 percent increase in her brand reputation index, bringing her score to 2,395,046 for May.

The two leads of the upcoming ENA drama “Doctor on the Edge” recently participated in a photo shoot with ELLE Korea.

“Doctor on the Edge” will tell the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.

In an interview conducted after the shoot, the two spoke about their on-screen chemistry. Lee Jae Wook shared, “’Doctor on the Edge’ will likely be my final project in my twenties. Above all, it was especially meaningful and enjoyable to film it with my same-age friend, actress Ye Eun.”

On the drama, he remarked, “The word ‘healing’ appears often in the work, but it is not only doctors who can heal others. We heal and are healed through one another in every aspect of life. It’s a heartwarming drama that conveys that message.”

Shin Ye Eun shared, “I was drawn to the way the character Yook Ha Ri views the world with such beauty.” She continued, “There were so many funny moments on set that it was hard to hold back my laughter. Through portraying the big and small events that unfolded, as well as the characters gradually healing their bodies and minds and growing, I realized that while everyone is different, deep down, we all long for happiness.”

 When asked what impression the project left on them, Lee Jae Wook said, “I cried a lot while filming this work. Every time that happened, I felt, ‘Ah, I really do love this project.’ It’s a work that made me cherish and love myself more during the filming process, so it will stay in my heart for a long time.”

Shin Ye Eun shared, “At first, I was nervous and anxious about filming, but once I actually stepped onto the set and let myself become immersed in the moment, I felt like I truly became Yook Ha Ri. I want to continue being an actor who blends into the set naturally and sincerely in the future.”

Speaking about working together, Lee Jae Wook shared, “I was really lucky that Ye Eun perfectly embodies the character of Ha Ri. We filmed in a remote location, and I’m grateful that she quietly endured even the difficult moments.”

Shin Ye Eun added, “It felt like Lee Jae Wook already knew everything about me. He is such a considerate person. I’m grateful he made me feel, at every moment, that we were moving in the same direction.”

Park Hae Soo, Lee Hee Joon, and Kwak Sun Young have shared their closing remarks ahead of the finale of “The Scarecrow.”

“The Scarecrow” follows a detective investigating a series of murders who is forced into an unlikely partnership with a man he despises. Set between 1988 and 2019, the suspenseful story tracks two men bound by misfortune and an uneasy alliance of hatred as they chase the truth across 30 years.

Ahead of the drama’s highly anticipated finale, the production team released new stills along with farewell comments from the cast.

Park Hae Soo, who led the drama as Kang Tae Joo, shared, “I heard many reactions saying the drama was difficult or frightening to watch. In the first half especially, I was constantly asked, ‘So who’s the culprit?’ and that made me realize just how immersed viewers were in the story. Later on, many people told me they felt angry and heartbroken alongside the characters.” He added, “Personally, the phrase I heard most often on the streets was ‘Kang Tae Joo, fighting!’ I’m simply grateful.”

Lee Hee Joon, who played Kang Tae Joo’s opposing force Cha Si Young, remarked, “Because the subject matter is heavy and the story itself isn’t lighthearted, I never expected it to receive this much love. That’s why I’m even more thankful.”

Kwak Sun Young, who portrayed Seo Ji Won, a key ally to Kang Tae Joo, said, “The comment I heard most often was that it was terrifying yet incredibly gripping. I also noticed that the criticism, which was initially directed only at the killer, eventually expanded toward those who mishandled the investigation back then. I’m truly grateful so many viewers showed interest in this drama.”

As the drama was inspired by the real-life Lee Chun Jae serial murder case, the actors approached the project with a heightened sense of responsibility. Ahead of the finale, they also shared key points viewers should look forward to in the final episode.

Lee Hee Joon, who played a prosecutor attempting to cover up the truth behind the serial murders, teased, “As Cha Si Young becomes a member of the National Assembly, he has more to protect—and more to lose. Please pay attention to the choice he makes when faced with the truth. In particular, the emotions in the final courtroom scene will be an important point to watch.”

Kwak Sun Young, who played a reporter in the 1980s timeline, commented, “Unlike the past, when the media was controlled by outside forces, Seo Ji Won is relatively freer in the drama’s present-day setting of 2019. Please look forward to how she reveals what happened in Gangseong to the world, how her friendship with Kang Tae Joo continues, and how the remaining characters move forward with their lives.”

Lastly, Park Hae Soo reflected, “Meeting the character Kang Tae Joo gave me many experiences both within the story and as an actor. At times it felt frustrating, but it was also incredibly desperate and heartfelt. I’m grateful to viewers who empathized with and deeply cared about the story, and I hope this drama can offer even a small measure of comfort to the victims and their bereaved families.”

“Wild Sing” is a comedy movie that follows the story of TRIANGLE, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

Shin Ha Kyun plays CEO Park, the head of Yonggu Records, who discovers TRIANGLE and turns them into stars. CEO Park has con artist tendencies as he discovers B-boy Hyun Woo (Kang Dong Won) at a playground audition and approaches rapper Sang Gu (Um Tae Goo), promising to form a real hip-hop group for him. However, with sharp instincts, he quickly pushes TRIANGLE to the top of the music industry.

However, after a scandal breaks out, he disappears. He then reappears 20 years later in front of the members, adding unpredictable tension and humor to the story. Shin Ha Kyun is expected to lift the film’s energy with his signature grounded comedic performance.

“Agent Kim Reactivated” is an action revenge drama about Manager Kim (So Ji Sub), the most ordinary dad in the world who becomes the most dangerous man in the world to save his one and only beloved daughter.

The first still highlights the hidden powerhouse appeal of Manager Kim, who avoids confrontation with troublemakers on his way home from work, even when provoked, and acts timidly when threatened.

This is a desperate attempt to hide his identity as the No. 1 target on a top-level most-wanted blacklist. He works as an ordinary employee at a midsize savings bank, but he is actually Code Name 66, a North-South Korean operative.

“Teach You a Lesson” is a series about the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a government task force created to restore teachers’ authority in an era of unruly students, demanding parents, and struggling schools. The series is directed by Hong Jong Chan of “Juvenile Justice” and written by Lee Nam Kyu of “Daily Dose of Sunshine.”

The newly released stills capture the Educational Rights Protection Bureau’s resolute determination as they deploy to different location—from high schools to elementary schools—to protect the crumbling education system.

  Photos showing Na Hwa Jin (Kim Moo Yeol) conducting classes in an auditorium instead of a classroom, and Im Han Rim (Jin Ki Joo) and Bong Geun Dae (P.O) infiltrating schools by posing as students, highlight the Educational Rights Protection Bureau’s unconventional methods of education.

On May 26, STARSHIP Entertainment detailed the identified accounts involved in spreading malicious content targeting IVE across various online platforms and emphasized that it will continue to pursue both civil and criminal action against any confirmed cases of malicious conduct in accordance with applicable laws and legal procedures, with no settlements or leniency.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is STARSHIP Entertainment.

We are continuing to take strong legal action against individuals who create and distribute malicious content targeting our artist IVE (AN YUJIN, GAEUL, REI, JANG WONYOUNG, LIZ, and LEESEO). This includes defamation, the spread of false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, invasion of privacy, and other forms of malicious and defamatory behavior. Such acts are clearly unlawful and cannot be justified under any circumstances. We once again emphasize that there will be no leniency or settlements in these cases, and we will hold all identified offenders fully accountable under the law.

In this case as well, based on fan reports and our own ongoing monitoring efforts, we have collected and thoroughly reviewed a large volume of malicious posts and accounts across multiple online platforms. As a result, we have filed criminal complaints and are proceeding with legal action against the following identified accounts (partially masked below):
