“Seven” is now Jungkook’s first solo music video to hit the 600 million mark.

“Wildsing” is a comedy movie that follows the story of Triangle, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

Ahead of its release, the film has dropped teasers for Triangle’s special comeback single “Love is” through the group’s official social media channel.

Kang Dong Won stars as Hyunwoo, the group’s leader and a dance machine known for his signature headspin moves. His red bandana and highlighted hairstyle seen in the poster perfectly capture the essence of 1990s idol fashion.

Park Ji Hyun, who plays the group’s only female member and center Domi, showcases her standout visuals, while Um Tae Goo undergoes a striking transformation into the group’s youngest member Sanggu, a high-energy rapper.

In the teaser, the trio delivers sharp dance breaks set to old-school hip-hop beats. According to film insiders, the actors underwent intensive training in both choreography and rap, comparable to real-life idols, in preparation for their roles. Adding to the lineup, Oh Jung Se plays Sung Gon, a ballad singer who was once overshadowed by Triangle and remained perpetually in second place.

“We Are All Trying Here” tells the story of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), who, surrounded by successful friends, believes he is the only one whose life isn’t working out. Consumed by anguish, envy, and jealousy, he sets out on a journey in search of peace.

Hwang Dong Man—who has spent 20 years dreaming of becoming a film director—is often labeled unemployed, but his days are anything but idle. While some may see him as merely “a dreamer,” in the classroom, he exudes the presence of a seasoned instructor, passing on his knowledge and experience. Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have reportedly moved to terminate their contracts with INB100.

On April 10, THE FACT reported that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin sent a formal notice in late March to INB100 CEO Cha Ga Won, informing her of their intent to terminate their exclusive contracts while requesting clarification regarding unpaid settlements and other alleged contract violations. Despite allowing an additional two weeks for a response, the trio reportedly did not receive a satisfactory explanation and ultimately decided to proceed with the termination.

In response to the report, Cha Ga Won’s side stated, “We are working to normalize the company. We will do our best to resolve the situation, whether through additional investment or by using personal funds.”

INB100 is a company Baekhyun established while preparing to become independent from SM Entertainment. In May 2024, it was incorporated as a subsidiary of ONE HUNDRED, a company founded by Cha Ga Won and MC Mong. Cha Ga Won later became the largest shareholder, overseeing INB100 alongside ONE HUNDRED and Big Planet Made Entertainment.

Prior to Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, several artists under Cha Ga Won—including nine members of THE BOYZ from ONE HUNDRED, as well as Taemin, Lee Mujin, BE’O, VIVIZ, and Lee Seung Gi from Big Planet Made Entertainment—had also notified the company of their contract terminations.

Cha Ga Won is currently facing three fraud allegations. She is suspected of signing contracts involving the use of her artists’ intellectual property and receiving large advance payments without carrying out the related business. Police are reportedly consolidating the cases and continuing their investigation.

SM Entertainment has issued an update on its ongoing legal actions against deepfake crimes targeting its artists.

On April 10, the agency released the following statement:

Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We would like to provide an update on our ongoing legal actions.

Our company is currently taking strong legal measures against acts that cause serious harm to our artists, including the spread of false information, defamation, sexual harassment, deepfakes, personal attacks, insults, and invasions of privacy.

In particular, the creation, distribution, and possession of illegal fabricated obscene materials constitute not only malicious crimes that sexually humiliate and mock our artists, causing them severe distress, but also serious offenses that can lead to significant defamation and damage to their image by creating the false impression that the artist is actually involved. As such, we are actively cooperating with investigative authorities by collecting evidence and filing complaints, and we are also strongly petitioning the court for strict punishment.

As a result, most suspects involved in deepfake-related cases have been apprehended. A total of 12 individuals—including Park (sentenced to 4 years in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 80 hours of sexual violence treatment program), Lee (3 years and 6 months in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 40 hours of treatment), Go (3 years in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 80 hours of treatment), Lee (3 years in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 40 hours of treatment), Oh (2 years and 6 months in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 40 hours of treatment), and Cha (2 years and 6 months in prison, 5 years of employment restriction, and 80 hours of treatment), and more—have been sentenced to imprisonment under charges including violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of fabricated videos). While the defendants filed repeated appeals, all have been dismissed and their sentences have been finalized; they are currently serving their prison terms.

Many perpetrators of deepfake crimes attempt to evade investigation by sharing illegal fabricated obscene materials through anonymous overseas social media platforms. However, our company is working closely with multiple law firms in the United States, and through investigative tracking, these individuals are also being apprehended without exception, with related investigations currently ongoing.

As criminal penalties for the creation, distribution, and possession of deepfakes are being enforced very strictly, we urge everyone to exercise caution to avoid becoming involved in such unlawful activities.

In the making-of video, IU shares her thoughts on starting to film “Perfect Crown,” remarking, “I’m just about getting used to the atmosphere on set now. I’m not as tense, and we’re working together while testing our chemistry. It’s getting slightly more fun every day.”

Regarding his first filming day, Byeon Woo Seok comments, “Honest, I thought I was very nervous, but after filming on set, so many staff members supported me and made it an enjoyable experience, so I could film the entire time enjoyably.”

ENA’s upcoming drama “The Scarecrow” has shared a sneak peek of the uncomfortable reunion between Park Hae Soo and Lee Hee Joon!

“The Scarecrow” follows a detective investigating a series of murders who is forced into an unlikely partnership with a man he despises. Set between 1988 and 2019, the suspenseful story tracks two men bound by misfortune and an uneasy alliance of hatred as they chase the truth across 30 years.

Park Hae Soo will star as Kang Tae Joo, an ace detective known for his powers of observation and his keen instinct. After being demoted and transferred from Seoul back to his hometown of Gangseong, Kang Tae Joo is assigned to a serial murder case.

Lee Hee Joon will play Cha Si Young, the high-flying prosecutor in charge of the case, who is known for his coolheaded judgment and political savvy. In a strange twist of fate, he also happens to be the former classmate that mercilessly bullied Kang Tae Joo during their school days.

Kang Tae Joo never understood Cha Si Young’s reasons for subjecting him to one-sided torment during their time in school, and the bullying left him with nightmarish memories that haunted him for years afterward. As a result, he is still full of fury and hatred for Cha Si Young that haven’t faded with the passage of time.

In contrast to Kang Tae Joo, for whom this forced reunion is emotionally charged, Cha Si Young looks utterly relaxed as he greets his former classmate with a disingenuous smile. To Kang Tae Joo’s anger and disbelief, Cha Si Young cheerfully acts as if nothing had ever happened between them.

Later, the tension between the two men is palpable as they cross paths once again at a crime scene late at night.

Going from one emotional turmoil to another, “Phantom Lawyer” shifts the spotlight from the ghosts’ cases and focuses on Han Na Hyun (Esom). While she has been featured as somewhat of a frenemy for Shin I Rang (Yoo Yeon Seok), now the tables turn, and we get to see a more sensible and approachable side of this woman. Giving us a sympathetic and heartfelt development, here are the moments where I Rang and Na Hyun grew closer during the latest episodes of this show. 

Warning: spoilers from episodes 7-8 ahead! 

1. While struggling to get new clients 

After some ups and downs, a bit of hesitation, and more episodes than needed, Han Na Hyun finally decides to leave the questionable law firm she works for. However, Yang Do Kyung (Kim Kyung Nam) doesn’t make things exactly easy for her. Whether it is because he doesn’t want to lose her talent to another firm or due to some unrequited feelings we still don’t know about, he is petty enough to block her way, preventing her from getting hired somewhere else. 

At first, she doesn’t bend to the pressure like Do Kyung wishes her to, but when the bills start to pile up and her money is running out, that’s when she really acknowledges the dire situation she is in. Funny enough, there’s no one like Shin I Rang to understand her circumstances since, after all, he still doesn’t get any more clients. So when I Rang gets the chance to work on a new case, he directly sends the client to Na Hyun, unaware of the troubles that are coming their way. 

2. As they learn about each other’s stories 

Upon learning that Na Hyun is in danger, Shin I Rang goes straight to her rescue, or at least he tries to. He isn’t the most heroic of male leads, but he still doesn’t let Na Hyun fend for herself. And his intent pays off, since they successfully escape that situation, although not completely unscathed. But that moment of camaraderie serves them to have a heart-to-heart conversation, and we see Na Hyun letting her guard down for the first time. As they share their stories, we can see clearly how they become even closer. 

She not only apologizes to I Rang for her attitude the first time they met but also tells him about her older sister, who died while saving her from a driver under the influence. That alone helps us understand her strict personality and why she is so determined to become a successful lawyer, since that was her older sister’s dream. In that sense, both I Rang and Na Hyung share a significant common ground since they started their path as lawyers based on their families’ circumstances.  

3. Working together on a school violence case 

And just when you thought I Rang wouldn’t go back to his job as a phantom lawyer, the moment he gets back into business, the most unexpected client arrives at his office: Na Hyun’s older sister. The spirited teenager inadvertently gets I Rang into trouble after she possesses his body and beats up a group of teenagers who were harassing another boy. Luckily, Na Hyun is on his side this time, though that doesn’t mean she is that friendly towards him just yet. She might have warmed up to him a little bit after their continuous interactions, but she is still a tough cookie to crack.  

Nonetheless, in order to prevent I Rang from going to jail or losing his license as a lawyer, they make a plan to catch the bullies, which, of course, doesn’t go that well. But it is Na Hyun’s sister who, taking on I Rang’s body, convinces the other boy to confront his bullies but without resorting to extreme measures. In the end, I Rang not only is free of all charges, but he and his group successfully get justice for a helpless boy. An interesting point in all this is that Yang Do Kyung is already aware of I Rang’s ability to see ghosts, which is a surprise given that not everyone would believe in such a thing. Na Hyun certainly is not one of them, at least not just yet. 

4. Na Hyun meeting her older sister through I Rang 

It is upon careful observation and putting the pieces of her memories together that Na Hyun considers the possibility of I Rang being able to see ghosts to be true. Thus, she takes him to the one place she and her sister loved the most. Unable to control her excitement, Na Hyun’s sister takes over I Rang’s body once again, and that’s when Na Hyun cannot deny the truth any longer. When she embraces I Rang, it isn’t exactly a romantic scene, though it may appear like that. It is more than a heart-fluttering moment, it is the emotional outburst of a woman who has waited too long and is finally able to reunite with the person she loves the most. 

Throughout these episodes, there’s a subtle yet conflicting question: what happens to those who are left behind? Na Hyun and her family are alive, but her sister is very much heartbroken after realizing that her sudden departure not only took away her life but also her family’s happiness. And in the middle of it all, there’s I Rang, who has yet to understand his role as a lawyer for lost souls fully. Is helping to get justice and peace for the deceased enough? Or will he now take on a deeper role as the connection between the dead and the living? Shin Hae Sun has shared her thoughts on her upcoming drama “Filing for Love”!

tvN’s “Filing for Love” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Noh Ki Joon (Gong Myoung), the ace of a major corporation’s audit department, who is suddenly demoted to the team that handles internal misconduct. As a result, he winds up getting entangled with Joo In Ah (Shin Hae Sun), a tough and eccentric team leader who is hiding a secret.

Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture the intimidating aura of Joo In Ah, a no-nonsense perfectionist who is strict about doing everything by the book and refuses to allow even the smallest mistakes. In one photo that shows the team leader in “attack mode,” Joo In Ah commands attention with a frosty gaze and her hands on her hips.

Another photo captures Joo In Ah arriving at Haemu Group as the new director of the audit department amidst a swirl of rumors. Even as she greets the staff with a smile, there is something about the look in her eyes that suggests you don’t want to get on her bad side.

Set in an alternate universe where modern-day Korea is a constitutional monarchy, “Perfect Crown” tells the love story of Seong Hui Ju (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything but is only a commoner in status, and Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo Seok), a prince who has nothing despite being the son of the king.

In Episode 1, as the nation’s prominent figures all gather to celebrate the king’s birthday, a face-to-face meeting takes place between chaebol heiress Seong Hui Ju and royal family member Grand Prince Ian.

Seong Hui Ju, the CEO of Castle Beauty, gets to set foot in the king’s birthday banquet for the first time despite the social limitations of being a commoner and of illegitimate birth. Determined to make her presence known through the major event that is the banquet, Seong Hui Ju breaks a royal taboo—that red is not worn in the palace—and chooses a bold red suit, drawing the attention of everyone there, including Grand Prince Ian.

In the newly released photos, Seong Hui Ju and Grand Prince Ian are shown crossing paths at the king’s birthday banquet. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun)—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. In Season 3, Kim Jae Won will be joining the cast as Yumi’s new love interest Soon Rok, an editorial PD at Julie Publishing.

The newly released preview of the drama’s premiere teases the start of a fiery “love-hate romance” between Yumi and Soon Rok, who initially get off on the wrong foot. At the beginning of the video, Soon Rok is introduced as the new PD assigned to Yumi, who is now a famous writer.

As they begin working together, Yumi tries to build rapport by cheerfully telling Soon Rok, “Wow, this must be fate!” However, Soon Rok’s frosty response leaves her embarrassed.

Later, during an awkward bus ride with Soon Rok, Yumi’s cells resist the urge to put in earphones in order to avoid conversation, noting that it’s impolite—only for Soon Rok to immediately do so himself. The incident leaves Yumi with a bad first impression of the PD, with her cells declaring, “It’s not that this guy’s short with his words. He’s just a jerk!”

tvN’s upcoming drama “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” has shared a glimpse of its first table read!

Based on a popular web novel and webtoon, “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” is a military fantasy-comedy drama that tells the story of army cook Kang Sung Jae (Park Ji Hoon). When a mysterious quest window pops up in front of him one day, Private Kang Sung Jae begins an unexpected journey that will lead him down the path towards becoming a legendary cook.

Notably, the cast got into uniform for the drama’s first script reading, which marked the ensemble’s first time gathering in one place. Because the script reading took place on June 25, the date when the Korean War began back in 1950, the table read began with a moment of silence to honor the fallen patriots who gave their lives in battle.

Screenwriter Choi Ryong, who has real-life experience as a former army cook, remarked, “Back when I was still serving in the army as a cook, I never imagined that a day like this would come. Being entrusted with [the script for] ‘The Legend of Kitchen Soldier’ and being able to come all the way here feels very new to me.”

During the ensuing reading, Park Ji Hoon impressed with his performance as the kind and resilient Kang Sung Jae, who finds himself confused and bewildered when supernatural phenomena begin occurring before his eyes.

Yoon Kyung Ho also shone in his role as Master Sergeant Park Jae Young, bringing out the character’s relatable, human charm despite his somewhat obnoxious and swaggering demeanor.

Meanwhile, Han Dong Hee exuded a calm but commanding charisma as First Lieutenant Jo Ye Rin, who stands up against injustice and isn’t afraid to be firm with the powerful, yet gentle with the weak.

Lee Hong Nae flawlessly pulled off the role of Sergeant Yoon Dong Hyun, the senior cook at Gangrim Outpost, who is only counting down the days to his discharge and is shamelessly impervious to any complaints about the menu.

Finally, Lee Sang Yi, who will be making a special appearance in the drama, captivated the room with his performance as Company Commander Hwang Seok Ho, a notoriously picky eater with a prickly personality.

“The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” will premiere on May 11 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

Park Sung Woong’s family is facing another crisis in “Cabbage Your Life”!

“Cabbage Your Life” follows the chaotic story of Sung Tae Hoon’s (Park Sung Woong) city family, who suddenly find themselves living in Yeonriri village as they struggle to return to Seoul.

In the previous episode, Sung Tae Hoon faced a crisis in his cabbage farming due to interference from Im Joo Hyung (Lee Seo Hwan). Becoming an outsider in the village, he refused to give up and, after relentless effort—including using cow manure as fertilizer—finally succeeded in sprouting cabbage seedlings. However, just as tensions between the two men reached a boiling point, his two sons suddenly ran away from home, throwing the family into chaos.

Newly released stills show Sung Tae Hoon’s family searching for the children late into the night alongside local residents. The eldest son Sung Ji Cheon (Lee Jin Woo) also scours the village anxiously, growing increasingly desperate as he looks for his younger brothers.

Jo Mi Ryeo (Lee Soo Kyung), who previously showed signs of respiratory distress in front of the village women’s association, heads home with Nam Hye Sun (Nam Kwon Ah) and Lee Sun Ja (Lee Sun Hee), only to be shocked by the disarray inside. Her tearful plea for help from the villagers as she searches for her sons adds to the emotional weight of the situation.

Meanwhile, Sung Tae Hoon teams up with Wang Dong Sik (Park Seok Won) and searches throughout Yeonriri in a desperate effort to find the boys. At one point, he discovers one of his second son Sung Ji Sang’s (Seo Yoon Hyuk) shoes in the neighborhood, heightening his anxiety.

The Netflix series “If Wishes Could Kill” has unveiled its main poster and trailer!

“If Wishes Could Kill” is a horror series about a group of high schoolers who suddenly learn that they are fated to die after being cursed by a mysterious wish-granting app called “GIRIGO.” As they race against time to escape the app’s deadly curse, they wind up uncovering its sinister truth.

The main poster initially appears to depict an ordinary classroom, but the cold, expressionless faces of the five students create an unsettling tension. Se Ah (Jeon So Young) and Na Ri (Kang Mina)’s phones emanate a red glow, while the phone placed in front of Ha Joon (Hyun Woo Seok) displays the screen of the deadly wish-granting app “GIRIGO.” In the back of the classroom, the presence of a mysterious female student sitting alone with her phone further heightens the eerie atmosphere. Rather than a space of youthful innocence, the classroom is portrayed as one filled with darkness and tension.

The main trailer begins with Hyeong Wook (Lee Hyo Je), who unexpectedly scores a perfect grade, proudly introducing the app “GIRIGO” to his friends. The app grants wishes when users input their personal details, record a video making a wish, and hit send.

Soon after Geon Woo (Baek Sun Ho) and Hyung Wook make their wishes, they receive a notification saying, “Your wish has been granted,” and a mysterious timer within the app begins to count down.

From that point on, unexplainable and eerie events begin to unfold, as scenes of terrified students heighten the tension. Ha Joon’s warning that the timer cannot be stopped, combined with the phrase “The death timer begins,” amplifies the anxiety over what will happen when the countdown reaches zero.

Meanwhile, Na Ri’s outburst—“Is the app possessed by a ghost or something?”—further raises questions about the true identity of the app. The trailer continues with Se Ah running through a darkened school in fear, intercut with urgent scenes of shamans Hae Sal (Jeon So Nee) and Bang Wool (Noh Jae Won) performing a ritual, hinting at the group’s desperate struggle to break the curse of “GIRIGO.”

In the last broadcast, Shin I Rang and Han Na Hyun dug into the truth behind a school violence case together, shared their deep emotional scars, and grew closer. Finally, Han Na Hyun confirmed the presence of her older sister Han So Hyun (Hwang Bo Reum Byeol), who had possessed Shin I Rang, leading the two to share a unique secret.

The newly released stills capture Shin I Rang and Han Na Hyun at Shin I Rang’s law firm, drawing attention. The photos hint that Han Na Hyun, who left the major law firm Taebaek, may be making a fresh start as Shin I Rang’s partner.

Adding to the intrigue is the person both of them are looking at. It is none other than Lee Deok Hwa, who exudes a strong aura in a refined suit. He is seen staring intently at a mysterious photograph alongside Shin I Rang, sparking viewers’ curiosity about whether he is a living client who has come to request a case—or a new deceased soul visible only to Shin I Rang.

tvN’s “Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama starring Ha Jung Woo as Ki Su Jong, a struggling landlord who gets caught up in crime to protect his family and property. Despite achieving the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to become entangled in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real.

Jeon Yi Kyung (Krystal) has suffered more than anyone else. First, she was kidnapped by her husband, Min Hwal Seong (Kim Jun Han), who was after her mother’s money. Then, she learned that her trusted friend, Kim Seon (Lim Soo Jung), was her husband’s affair partner, leaving her reeling with betrayal. Determined to make them feel the pain she endured, she chose a path of revenge: kidnapping Kim Seon’s most precious person, her daughter Ki Da Rae (Park Seo Kyung).

Jeon Yi Kyung’s desire for revenge was fueled even more by Ki Su Jong’s lies. To cover up his role in helping Min Hwal Seong with the kidnapping, Ki Su Jong told Jeon Yi Kyung a cowardly lie that his wife, Kim Seon, was the accomplice. Set in an alternate universe where modern-day Korea is a constitutional monarchy, “Perfect Crown” tells the love story of Seong Hui Ju (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything but is only a commoner in status, and Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo Seok), a prince who has nothing despite being the son of the king.

In the drama, Seong Hui Ju (IU), the CEO of Castle Beauty, and her chief secretary Do Hye Jung (Lee Yeon) are soul partners striving together to become number one in the industry. Do Hye Jung, who never holds back on praise or nagging for Seong Hui Ju—who craves people’s attention—initially reacts negatively to Seong Hui Ju’s bold idea of upgrading her social status by marrying Grand Prince Ian but eventually begins to actively support her.

Just as Seong Hui Ju has her soul partner Do Hye Jung, Grand Prince Ian has his aide Choi Hyun (Yoo Su Bin), with whom he shares a bond stronger than blood. Although Choi Hyun often nags out of concern for the prince, his loyalty to Ian knows no bounds. When Ian faces threats after choosing a marriage opposed by the royal family, Choi Hyun’s loyalty toward him burns even stronger.

Ahead of the drama’s premiere, IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Yeon, and Yoo Su Bin shared their thoughts on their chemistry.

First, IU expressed her affection for Lee Yeon, saying, “I’ve been a fan of Lee Yeon and had said before that I wanted to work with her. It feels like fate brought her to me. On set, I felt like I was being led by her because she came so well prepared and had so many fun ideas.”

Lee Yeon shared, “I was a fan of IU, and since I played her secretary with that mindset, I had no trouble immersing myself. I learned a lot and had so much fun during filming,” hinting at a warm and friendly atmosphere on set.

Next, Yoo Su Bin spoke about his chemistry with Byeon Woo Seok, saying, “It was truly amazing. Byeon Woo Seok is such a great person both as a human being and as an actor that I naturally grew fond of him while filming. I think we could feel each other’s affection while acting.”

Byeon Woo Seok remarked, “I felt the same. While acting, my affection for Choi Hyun grew even stronger. It was wonderful that we felt the same way,” expressing his satisfaction and making viewers curious about their bromance.

“Perfect Crown” will premiere on April 10 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
