tvN’s upcoming drama “Filing for Love” has unveiled new stills featuring Hong Hwa Yeon!

tvN’s “Filing for Love” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Noh Ki Joon (Gong Myoung), the ace of a major corporation’s audit department, who is suddenly demoted to the team that handles internal misconduct. As a result, he winds up getting entangled with Joo In Ah (Shin Hae Sun), a tough and eccentric team leader who is hiding a secret.

Hong Hwa Yeon plays Park Ah Jeong, the Haemu Group’s goddess and secretary.

The newly released stills show Park Ah Jeong in an elegant look. Her confident gaze and stride convey professionalism as she skillfully assists Haemu Group Executive Vice Chairman Jeon Jae Yeol (Kim Jae Wook), staying one step behind him as his secretary. Park Ah Jeong, however, does not easily open her heart to others.

Hong Hwa Yeon said, “It was refreshing that the audit team, which has a serious image, is assigned to handle company misconduct cases. I found it interesting that this process adds liveliness and energy to the drama.”

She added that she decided to appear in the series because, “I found it charming that I could show Haemu Group’s story from a different perspective, from the standpoint of a secretary rather than a member of the audit team.”

Regarding her character, Hong Hwa Yeon remarked, “She has many different sides. She can be haughty but also lovable at times and sometimes lonely. Park Ah Jeong shows slightly different attitudes depending on her surroundings, and I spent a lot of time thinking about how best to express her various sides.”

“Filing for Love” premieres on April 25 at 9:10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.

“Take a Hike!” follows four “involuntary hikers” who have never cared about hiking as they embark on their first-ever midwinter expedition across snow-covered peaks.

The show is directed by PD Park Hyun Yong, who has brought big laughs with “Earth Arcade,” “Jinny’s Kitchen,” and the “New Journey to the West” series.

The show’s distinctive concept is matched by an exciting cast lineup. There were many tough moments, but thanks to the members, I was able to push through, and I definitely gained some realizations along the way. As for what those realizations were… please check through the broadcast,” teasing their entertaining struggles.

Dowoon added, “I have so many fun and happy memories from the climb. While filming, I felt that the directors and production team are the kind of people who would succeed no matter what they do—they’re amazing, and I truly respect them. I learned so much working with such great people. It was such an enjoyable time throughout, and I can’t wait for viewers to see the chemistry between the members.”

Lee Chae Min shared, “Starting with Seoraksan, we climbed some of Korea’s most famous mountains and built strong teamwork along the way. Now, I’ve gained enough courage and perseverance that I’m no longer afraid of any slope. It was difficult at first, but at some point, I found myself completely drawn to the charm of winter mountains. The time we spent struggling and laughing together, not just with the members but also the staff, has become a precious memory.”

Jin Ki Joo will be starring in a new medical drama!

On April 15, it was announced that JIn Ki Joo has been confirmed to star as the lead in the upcoming KBS2 drama “Sleeping Doctor” (literal title).

“Sleeping Doctor” is a romantic comedy that follows Hong Gyeong, a rookie self-employed clinic owner, and Nam Ji Oh, a jack-of-all-trades pay doctor, as their lives unfold at a struggling private psychiatric clinic.

Jin Ki Joo transforms into Hong Gyeong, the director of Healer Mental Health Clinic in the drama. Hong Gyeong is a psychiatrist with proven skills, but she has trouble with her own mental health due to past trauma. Seeking a fresh start, she opens her own private clinic, only to face an unexpected obstacle: in an ironic twist, she keeps falling asleep—but only in front of her patients. As Hong Kyung struggles to survive as a neighborhood clinic, she meets Nam Ji Oh, a freelance doctor, and reaches a turning point in her life.

Jin Ki Joo, who previously demonstrated a wide acting range through various dramas including “Undercover High School,” “Uncle Samsik,” and “My Perfect Stranger,” is set to portray the character’s complex inner world with nuance. Kim Sung Cheol is in talks for the role of Nam Ji Oh, while Kim Yoon Hye has reportedly been offered the role of Jang Hye Jung, a nurse at Healer Mental Health Clinic, where Hong Gyeong serves as the director.

This past weekend, Billboard announced that BTS’s studio album “ARIRANG” was now spending a historic third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

On April 14 local time, Billboard went on to reveal more of BTS’s achievements on this week’s charts. In addition to remaining No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart—meaning it was the best-selling album in the United States for the third week in a row—“ARIRANG” reclaimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart.

BTS topped a total of seven different Billboard charts this week, including the Artist 100, where they remained No. 1 in their 345th overall week on the chart.

BTS’s title track “SWIM” also held onto its spot at No. 1 on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart for the third week in a row. Additionally, all 13 songs from “ARIRANG” that include vocals (with the sole exception of the instrumental track “No. 29,” which features only the tolling of the Divine Bell of King Seongdeok) remained in the top 40 of the Global Excl. U.S. chart and the top 50 of the Global 200 this week.

On April 13 at 6 p.m. KST, TXT made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” and its title track “Stick With You.”

According to Hanteo Chart, by the end of the following day, “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” had already sold an impressive total of 1,532,853 copies.

“7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” is TXT’s seventh consecutive album to sell over 1 million copies in the first week of its release, following “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,” “minisode 3: TOMORROW,” “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” and “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER.” With the exception of “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” all of these albums surpassed 1 million sales on the first day of their release.

Additionally, as of 9 a.m. KST on April 14, “Stick With You” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 17 different regions, including Chile, Mexico, and the Philippines. The 2026 American Music Awards (AMAs) has revealed this year’s nominees!

On April 14 local time, the American Music Awards officially announced its nominations for 2026. The nominees were chosen “based on key fan interactions, including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay, and tour grosses,” using data collected by Billboard and Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music) from March 21, 2025 to March 26, 2026.

BTS snagged three nominations for 2026, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer (for their latest hit “SWIM”), and Best Male K-Pop Artist. Tame Impala and BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s remix of “Dracula” has also been nominated for Song of the Summer.

“KPop Demon Hunters” is in the running for Best Soundtrack, while the film’s smash hit “Golden” (sung by HUNTR/X’s singing voices EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) racked up three nods: Song of the Year, Best Pop Song, and Best Vocal Performances.

KATSEYE also scored three nominations, including New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video (for “Gnarly”), and Breakthrough Pop Artist.

Finally, the nominees for this year’s Best Male K-Pop Artist are ATEEZ, BTS, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, and TXT, while the nominees for Best Female K-Pop Artist are aespa, BLACKPINK, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, and TWICE.

On April 15 at around 3:45 a.m. KST, WayV’s music video for their hit English-language single “Love Talk” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making it the group’s first music video ever to reach the milestone.

WayV first released the music video for “Love Talk” on November 5, 2019 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took approximately six years, five months, and nine days to hit the 100 million mark.

Wanna One’s highly anticipated reunion variety show “WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base” has unveiled its main poster.

The poster features all 11 members inside a massive, house-like “base,” with each member expressing their individuality through their own uniquely designed room. Portrayed as adorable illustrated characters, they showcase their distinct tastes and personalities through different room concepts.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Azure Spring” is a healing youth drama that follows Seo Anna (Kim Ye Rim), who has come to a standstill out of fear of the future, and Yoon Deok Hyun, who remains trapped in the past and unable to move forward. As they live as a haenyeo (female diver) and haenam (male diver), the two gradually grow through one another.

The drama is set against the picturesque islands of Hallyeohaesang National Park in Tongyeong. The sea is portrayed not merely as a backdrop, but as a space for challenge and growth that sets stagnant lives back into motion. In addition, dishes made with fresh local ingredients from the Tongyeong sea will be woven into the story, offering another layer of visual appeal.

Kim Ye Rim stars as Seo Anna, a former national youth athlete whose sports career ended due to injury. With her dreams shattered, she goes to her mother’s hometown, where she meets Deok Hyun and begins a new dream.

The Netflix series “If Wishes Could Kill” has unveiled new stills featuring its cast!

“If Wishes Could Kill” is a horror series about a group of high schoolers who suddenly learn that they are fated to die after being cursed by a mysterious wish-granting app called GIRIGO. As they race against time to escape the app’s deadly curse, they wind up uncovering its sinister truth.

The stills show strange events that unfold after high school friends Se Ah (Jeon So Young), Na Ri (Kang Mina), Geon Woo (Baek Sun Ho), Ha Joon (Hyun Woo Seok), and Hyeong Wook (Lee Hyo Je) accidentally discover a mysterious app called GIRIGO, which is said to grant wishes when users make a wish after entering their fortune readings and names.

Se Ah and Geon Woo, who are secretly dating, are seen making wishes through the GIRIGO app.

As secrets behind the app are gradually revealed, the five friends’ daily lives take a dramatic turn. After witnessing the curse tied to GIRIGO firsthand, they try to escape it by deleting the app and resetting their phones. However, nothing works, and they are increasingly pushed to the edge, suggesting the curse is more serious than they expected.

Also drawing attention are Ha Joon’s older sister Haetsal (Jeon So Nee), a shaman, and her assistant Bang Wool (Roh Jae Won), who step in to try to break the curse linked to the GIRIGO app. They search for the source of the curse by performing rituals and going into the field to investigate.

As Se Ah and Ha Joon, as well as Haetsal and Bang Wool, struggle to break the curse, it remains to be seen what will ultimately happen to the wishes made on GIRIGO.

“If Wishes Could Kill” will be released on Netflix on April 24.
