SBS’s “Sold Out on You” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Sold Out on You” is a romantic comedy about the unexpected love story between Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a perfectionist farmer juggling multiple jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.

Until now, Matthew Lee has been quietly keeping watch over Dam Ye Jin, who suffered from sleepwalking. Thus, in exchange for signing a raw material supply contract with L’Étoile, Matthew Lee requested that Dam Ye Jin only take one sleeping pill a day on the condition that the home shopping show host in charge should maintain good health.

The newly released stills depict Dam Ye Jin experiencing sleepwalking symptoms again, coming outside at night with light clothes as Matthew Lee tries to stop her. Furthermore, Dam Ye Jin appears to have fainted with a bowl of side dishes scattered around her, hinting at her worsening condition.

Thus, Matthew Lee and the villagers set out to help Dam Ye Jin, all contributing great effort and sincerity so that Dam Ye Jin can sleep well, eat well, and rest well.

Matthew Lee in particular will pay great care to Dam Ye Jin’s daily routine, allowing the two to become even closer in a way that will deliver heart-fluttering excitement to viewers.

Our favorite lawyer is saying goodbye! We might not have seen much action from Shin I Rang (Yoo Yeon Seok) in court throughout the show, but he far surpassed the typical office work to ensure every one of his clients got what they deserved, turning him into one of the best lawyers in K-dramaland. And when it came to what could be his most important case ever, he didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line to succeed, giving this story the ending it deserved. Here are the moments we loved the most in the last episodes of “Phantom Lawyer”!

Warning: spoilers from episodes 15-16 ahead.

1. Shin I Rang revealing the truth about his father’s death 

After giving his memories back to his father, it was fairly easy for I Rang to confirm that everything he knew about his father was real. He wasn’t the corrupt and evil person everyone had believed him to be. He was the kind, warm, and loving father he always admired. Once he is certain of this, I Rang is determined to find the true culprit. The problem is, the moment he retrieves the only piece of evidence that his father left behind before passing away, they snatch it from his fingers at the last moment. 

Though Shin Gi Jung (cameo by Choi Won Young) helps him and Han Na Hyun (Esom) escape unscathed by possessing his son’s body and showing off his kendo abilities, he gets concerned about I Rang’s safety. After all, his fatherly heart is still the same. But what Gi Jung doesn’t know is that his son is more resourceful and clever than he appears to be. 

Using all the tricks up his sleeve, he and his team recover the voice recorder from Yang Do Kyung (Kim Kyung Nam) and expose Yang Byeong Il’s (Choi Kwang Il) crimes. And this moment couldn’t have been more satisfying to watch. It’s your typical “the good one always wins” trope, but it still works because the emotions feel real and overflow in a way that makes you cry watching both father and son realizing justice has finally arrived.

2. Shin I Rang and his family bonding with his father 

While there’s much action and some thrill in these couple of episodes, there’s also much emotion going on. I Rang not only had the chance to discover the truth about his father’s death, but also to bond with his father in a special way, something he couldn’t do since his childhood. And when his mother and especially his older sister realize that his father is back, that’s when the real waterfall of tears begins. Once his name is cleared, the only thing left to do for Shin Gi Jung is to say one last goodbye to his family. The years they endured living under a shadow of shame and uncertainty are finally clear, and they can share a happy family moment again. 

But in the end, not everything is happiness, at least not for everyone. Things turn a little bitter when Shin Gi Jung reunites with his once good friend Yang Byeong Il, who is unashamed about his crimes. However, despite Gi Jung being the one who passed away, it is Byeong Il who ends up more resentful and spiteful about his situation. But in a sense, it is an appropriate ending for this villain. They don’t try to humanize him or make you feel pity for him, since he ultimately reaped what he sowed. Another clear contrast between the good and the bad ones reflects on Yang Do Kyung, who, despite all his struggles to please his father and follow his will, is left behind all alone. 

3. Shin I Rang and Han Na Hyun confessing their feelings

And throughout it all, Han Na Hyun stays by I Rang’s side. Their bond develops in such a natural way in these couple of episodes that even I Rang’s dad notices how important they are to each other, so it doesn’t feel rushed when they finally have the chance to confess their mutual feelings. Admittedly, it would’ve been great to see more of their chemistry, but their funny and charming kiss under the mistletoe is good enough for those who were longing for that bit of romance between them. 

It is kind of funny to see a Christmas scene so near the summer in a K-drama, but that’s one of the best things about this show. It follows a story that fits any time and moment, since it speaks mostly about human emotions, relationships, family, grief, and justice; it can appeal to almost everybody. The hints of humor and romance only add to an already solid plot. It feels like it has so much more that it can give; it wouldn’t be crazy to expect another season of Shin I Rang being the best “Phantom Lawyer”!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

The teaser video opens with the story of former National Intelligence Service agent Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun), North Korean operative Bong Jae Soon (Oh Jung Se), who lost his memory after an unexpected accident, and gangster Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae), who is pursuing Jung Ho Myung. All three are now on Yeongseon Island following an operation that failed 10 years ago. As the line, “It seems like life and operations are truly unpredictable,” suggests, a decade has passed, and all three are physically and emotionally worn down.

Meanwhile, those behind the incident that Jung Ho Myung has been chasing for 10 years begin to move toward their own goals. Following Han Kyung Wook’s (Kim Sang Kyung) chilling line, “Even the purest clean water can turn muddy after a few rain showers,” the clip goes on to show his sponsor Chairman Do (Kwon Yul) and Yoo In Gu (Hyun Bong Sik), who signals the start of the operation. 

In particular, Jung Ho Myung’s declaration, “This time, I won’t let them slip away. Never!” heightens curiosity about how the conflict over that day’s incident will unfold.

On May 7, SM Entertainment shared that Shotaro will be attending but limiting participation in upcoming events following an ankle injury and released the following statement:

Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We would like to inform you regarding RIIZE member Shotaro’s injury and his upcoming scheduled activities.

Shotaro recently injured his ankle during a performance at an overseas event. Following a detailed medical examination at the hospital, he was diagnosed with a torn ankle ligament. He is currently recovering while wearing a semi-cast and receiving regular outpatient treatment.

As a result, it has been decided that Shotaro will participate in the scheduled events (the May 8 Incheon National University festival, the May 10 Japan Kstyle Party, and the May 14 Sogang University and Soongsil University festivals), but he will not perform choreography on stage.

This decision was made after discussions with Shotaro and in accordance with medical advice stating that while daily activities are possible, he should refrain from intense dancing and prioritize rest and recovery. Their reunion forces both of them to revisit old wounds, buried feelings, and the truth behind why they drifted apart.

The flashbacks to their school days have a warm, dreamy quality, while the present-day story leans into themes of ambition, heartbreak, and healing. The reality show backdrop also adds a fun twist, bringing awkward encounters, jealousy, unresolved tension, and unexpectedly intimate moments as the former lovers are pushed back into each other’s lives. Even small details, like both of them sharing the character “Xing” in their names and being born on the same day, add a quiet sense of fate to their journey. At its heart, the drama is about first love, second chances, and whether two people can find their way back to each other when life has changed them.

“Love in Disguise” is a romance thriller that follows an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect and a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him. The drama is based on the popular web novel and webtoon “Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman?” (literal title).

The newly released stills feature Yim Si Wan as Yoon Yi Jun, the next heir to Taegang Group, the top-ranked conglomerate in the business world, and Seol In Ah as Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer who goes undercover as Yoon Yi Jun’s secretary.

“The Sword: Rebirth of the Red Wolf” is a historical action film set shortly after the fall of Goguryeo. It follows a man who loses his memory and becomes a slave before entering a tournament for a legendary sword. Director Kim Han Min of the film “War of the Arrows” will take the helm.

With the project slated to air via theaters in 2027, the newly released teaser posters capture Park Bo Gum’s powerful transformation into protagonist Chil Seong. After the fall of Goguryeo, Chil Seong lived as a slave while having forgotten his past. The poster captures the moment of awakening as he gradually realizes his true identity though a battle with the fates of 16 northern tribes on the line. The text “Rebirth of the Red Wolf” previews the grand narrative as well as the thrilling and cathartic action to come.

The upcoming film will take place in the year 668 in Xiangping, combining imagination and fiction with historical background to depict a story about a legendary sword of the north becoming a source of hope in a period of dark times. In addition to Park Bo Gum, the film additionally features a star-studded cast including Joo Won, Jung Jae Young, Lee Sun Bin, Vietnamese star Trấn Thành, and more, raising anticipation for the upcoming film.

Netflix’s upcoming drama “Teach You a Lesson” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

“Teach You a Lesson” is a sharp, cathartic series about the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a government task force created to restore teachers’ authority in an era of unruly students, demanding parents, and struggling schools. The series will be directed by Hong Jong Chan of “Juvenile Justice” and written by Lee Nam Kyu of “Daily Dose of Sunshine.”

The poster features Na Hwa Jin (Kim Moo Yeol), Choi Gang Seok (Lee Sung Min), Im Han Rim (Jin Ki Joo), and Bong Geun Dae (P.O). They are members of the ERPB, a group formed to restore order to schools in chaos.

On May 6, Pangstar Entertainment revealed that Kim Heesoo had recently been undergoing treatment for symptoms of anxiety. The agency went on to announce that based on the doctor’s opinion that he needs sufficient rest, Kim Heesoo will be going on a temporary hiatus in order to focus on his recovery.

As a result, The Wind will be carrying out their activities as a five-member group for the time being.

On May 6, MW Entertainment announced that Yeowon, who had been on hiatus since last September due to health concerns, would be permanently leaving USPEER.

USPEER first debuted under WM Entertainment last June before parting ways with the agency in January of this year.
