“My Daughter Is a Zombie” has now become the biggest hit of 2025 at the South Korean box office! According to the Korean Film Council, as of August 16 KST, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” had recorded a total of over 4,310,000 moviegoers. The film, which remained No. 1 at the Korean box office, has now overtaken the Hollywood movie “F1” (which has recorded approximately 4.1 million moviegoers in South Korea) to become the most-watched release of 2025. Based on the webtoon of the same name, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” is a heartfelt comedy about a devoted father who goes to extreme lengths to protect his daughter, who is the last surviving zombie on Earth. The film stars Jo Jung Suk, Cho Yeo Jeong, Lee Jung Eun, Choi Yu Ri, and more. Congratulations to the cast and crew of “My Daughter Is a Zombie”!

The newly released preview begins with Kwon Eun Bi stopping by the building she owns, where she is also running a café on the first floor. Despite being busy with her singing career, Kwon Eun Bi reveals that she is heavily involved in the café’s operations, personally baking pastries and coming up with new drink ideas for the menu. She is also shown overseeing the café’s finances. Next, Kwon Eun Bi’s manager reveals that he is living in the building she owns with a heavily discounted rent. After sharing a glimpse of his well-furnished apartment, he adds with a laugh, “I don’t want to move out.” Later, after filming videos for her upcoming concert, Kwon Eun Bi meets up with her close friend Lee Si An, who appeared with her on the Mnet survival show “Produce 48” back in 2018 and recently reentered the spotlight on the hit Netflix dating show “Single’s Inferno 4.” As they enjoy a meal together at home and playfully joke around with one another, Lee Si An expresses her gratitude to Kwon Eun Bi, mentioning that the singer generously lent her designer bags and other accessories for the “Single’s Inferno 4” shoot. The upcoming movie “Run to You” has officially confirmed its premiere date and released a new poster! Starring Ha Seok Jin, Lee Shin Young, and TWICE’s Dahyun, “Run to You” is a heartwarming sports film helmed by director Lee Seung Hoon. It tells the story of a national sprint record holder nearing the end of his prime and a high school track athlete just beginning his journey and running purely for the love of it. The firm follows their tireless pursuit of seemingly impossible dreams and the emotional journey they share along the way. In what marks his return to the big screen after nine years, Ha Seok Jin stars as Kang Goo Young, a sprinter who broke Korea’s 100-meter track record for the first time in 30 years. Despite the initial excitement surrounding his achievement, 10 years later, he finds himself disillusioned. As he nears the end of his heyday, he no longer enjoys running, and he is filled with regret over the path his life has taken. The character of Kang Goo Young is inspired by real-life athlete Kim Kuk Young, who set a national record in the 100-meter sprint in 2017 that still remains unbroken to this day. The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from July 16 to August 16. BTS’s Jin topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,961,133, marking a 3.54 percent increase in his score since July. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “world tour,” “Don’t Say You Love Me,” and “concert,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “outstanding,” “sold out,” and “expand.” Jin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.30 percent positive reactions. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,414,777. marking a 3.25 percent rise in his score since last month. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 4,390,489, marking a 4.69 percent increase in his score since July. Meanwhile, BTS’s Jimin came in at a very close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,385,053.
