Shim Eun Kyung Transforms Into An Operative Involved In A Redevelopment Project In New Drama “Mad Concrete Dreams”

Shim Eun Kyung Transforms Into An Operative Involved In A Redevelopment Project In New Drama “Mad Concrete Dreams”

Upcoming drama “Mad Concrete Dreams” has unveiled the first stills of Shim Eun Kyung in character! “Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama that follows a struggling landlord who becomes entangled in crime to protect his family and property. While he achieves the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to participate in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real. Shim Eun Kyung plays Yo Na, a mysterious operative at Real Capital. Yo Na is cold, ruthless, and avoids forming deep relationships with anyone. Real Capital is leading a redevelopment project in the area where Ki Soo Jong’s (Ha Jung Woo) building is located. On the surface, the company appears legitimate, but it will do whatever it takes to finish what it starts. Yo Na comes to South Korea to resolve issues with the redevelopment project, but she encounters the unexpected variable, Ki Soo Jong, and ends up threatening him. The stills showcase Shim Eun Kyung’s striking transformation into Yo Na. Wearing a black suit, Yo Na radiates a chilling aura with her trademark expressionless face. Standing in the dark, she gives off an unsettling vibe. With her cold gaze alone, she builds tension and raises expectations for Yo Na’s role in shaking up the story. The production team said, “Shim Eun Kyung fully brought Yo Na to life through careful character analysis. Please look forward to her performance, which heightens the suspense in ‘Mad Concrete Dreams.’” “Mad Concrete Dreams” is set to premiere on March 14 at 9:10 p.m. KST.

Kang Suk Woo Tenderly Takes Care Of Lee Mi Sook In Poster For New Drama “In Your Radiant Season”

Upcoming drama “In Your Radiant Season” has unveiled a new poster featuring Lee Mi Sook and Kang Suk Woo! “In Your Radiant Season” tells the story of Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), a man who lives each day like an exciting summer vacation, and Song Ha Ran (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who has locked herself away as if life were a cold winter. Lee Mi Sook plays Kim Nana, a first-generation fashion designer representing Korea and the head of Nana Atelier. A perfectionist with firm principles, Kim Nana commands attention wherever she goes. As a sharp and decisive leader who has also raised her three granddaughters, she reaches a turning point in life when she unexpectedly reunites with her long-buried first love. Kang Suk Woo plays Park Man Jae, a barista who runs a quiet alley café called “Rest.” After retiring, Man Jae lives a slow, peaceful life, listening to people’s stories and offering comfort through his presence. Through regular customer Song Ha Ran, he reconnects with his longtime acquaintance Kim Nana and begins a second spring in life. The newly released poster captures Kim Nana and Park Man Jae. Facing Man Jae, her first love from childhood, Nana looks at him with a bright smile, while Man Jae silently adjusts her scarf, attentively caring for her. The heart-fluttering atmosphere between the two warms viewers’ hearts. The poster’s caption, “Back then, we were so dazzling and beautiful,” brings to mind the time, memories, and past days buried deep in their hearts. The romance between these two, who meet again at the end of their long life journey, is expected to resonate with viewers. Writer Jo Sung Hee commented on Lee Mi Sook, saying, “[Lee Mi Sook’s] attention to detail—never missing even the smallest cue and delivering performances several times beyond expectation—always amazes me. Thanks to her, I experienced how even a single short line could carry enough emotion and depth to pierce straight into the heart.” The writer also commented on Kang Suk Woo, saying, “From the moment I created the character Park Man Jae, I thought of Kang Suk Woo. When I was working on my previous project, I listened to the radio show he hosted every day. The comfort I felt back then is fully reflected in the current character of Park Man Jae.” She added, “It is an honor to work on this project with both of these incredible actors.” “In Your Radiant Season” is set to premiere on February 20 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

Yoo Yeon Seok And Esom Form An Unconventional Lawyer Duo In New Drama “Phantom Lawyer”

Yoo Yeon Seok And Esom Form An Unconventional Lawyer Duo In New Drama “Phantom Lawyer”

SBS’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Phantom Lawyer” has teased the dynamic between Yoo Yeon Seok and Esom! “Phantom Lawyer” is a quirky yet heartwarming legal drama that follows Shin Yi Rang (Yoo Yeon Seok), a lawyer who can see ghosts, and elite attorney Han Na Hyun (Esom) as they resolve the lingering grievances of their very unusual clients—ghosts—through the law. In the stills, Shin Yi Rang and Han Na Hyun sit facing each other, creating a tense atmosphere. Shin Yi Rang listens to the words of ghosts and even their grievances, defending truths that cannot be seen. By contrast, Han Na Hyun is a principled attorney who trusts only the facts before her, aiming solely for victories won through evidence and logic. Even when working in the same space and on the same case, the two lawyers’ starkly different interpretations foreshadow a relationship that will never be easy. It remains to be seen how these two will shake each other’s worlds. Yet, just as opposites attract, and differing abilities create synergy, their relationship gradually enters a new phase as they uncover the truth behind a strange case. Han Na Hyun, who once did not believe in ghosts, encounters Shin Yi Rang’s supernatural world with each case, eventually becoming his most reliable ally. The journey from clashes and suspicion to trust and collaboration is a central storyline that drives both the tension and the entertainment of the drama. The production team said, “The premise of a lawyer who sees ghosts and an attorney who does not believe in ghosts is the clearest way to show the contrast between the two characters. As they work to solve cases, clashes, fractures, and unexpected moments of empathy happen at the same time, creating a ‘possessed chemistry’ that will drive the heart of this revenge adventure.” They added, “Since Yoo Yeon Seok and Esom are actors with completely different energies, the tension and rhythm they create together will heighten the drama’s immersion.” “Phantom Lawyer” is set to premiere on March 13 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
