Watch: Lim Yoona Is Determined To Make Lee Chae Min Fall For Her Cooking In “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” Teasers

Upcoming drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” has shared new teasers! Based on a popular web novel, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” is a fantasy romance drama starring Lim Yoona as Yeon Ji Young, an award-winning French chef who winds up traveling 500 years back into the past. There, she meets despotic king Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min), who is known as the worst of tyrants—and who also happens to be a discerning gourmet. The first teaser captures Yeon Ji Young as she struggles to adapt after suddenly falling into an unfamiliar space. Her appearance, unlike anything seen in that era, draws wary glances from everyone around her. Even when she declares, “I’m from 500 years in the future,” no one believes her—and to make matters worse, she is dragged away by palace guards. However, Yeon Ji Young does not falter and uses her honed skills as a chef to find a way to survive. She captivates King Lee Heon by serving him royal dishes with mysterious cooking techniques and menus that were unheard of in that era. At the end of the teaser, Yeon Ji Young is seen dressed in a royal chef’s uniform as she declares, “Today, I became the tyrant’s chef,” leaving viewers curious whether she will safely return to her original time. The second teaser focuses on King Lee Heon, who encounters a mysterious “ghost woman” and becomes enchanted by her cooking. The teaser highlights Lee Heon’s absolute power. In one scene, he overturns the royal table, while in another, he enjoys hunting despite the pleas of his ministers. However, his actions seem absurd to Yeon Ji Young, who is from the future and has a modern mindset. In one scene, she bluntly rebukes him and even strikes his head with her hand. Angered by her disrespectfulness, Lee Heon punishes Yeon Ji Young by locking her in the royal kitchen. He warns her, “If even a single day repeats the same dish or it doesn’t suit my taste—.” However, he is soon seen thoroughly enjoying the meals prepared by Ji Young, hinting that he has already fallen under the spell of her culinary skills. Viewers are left curious about which dish managed to captivate the picky King Lee Heon. Watch the teaser below! “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” will premiere on August 23 at 9:10 p.m. KST.

Bae Hyeon Seong Is A Law Graduate Who Ends Up Working At Han Suk Kyu's Chicken Restaurant In New Drama “Shin’s Project”

tvN’s upcoming drama “Shin’s Project” has unveiled its first still of Bae Hyeon Seong in character! “Shin’s Project” is a comedy series that follows the story of Mr. Shin, a man who takes it upon himself to mediate conflicts and assist people through seemingly unwinnable situations. Han Suk Kyu stars as Mr. Shin, a former legendary negotiator who now runs a modest chicken restaurant. He willingly rushes into every conflict, settles problems, and delivers justice as a neighborhood hero. Bae Hyeon Seong plays Jo Philip, a man who, with natural intelligence and consistent effort, has always stayed at the top and enjoyed a smooth life. Just before starting his career as a judge, he unexpectedly lands a job through a connection at a fried chicken restaurant run by Mr. Shin, marking a major turning point in his life. Jo Philip’s resume, submitted to the fried chicken restaurant, stands out for its impressive credentials. He entered and graduated from the police academy at the top of his class, passed the law school entrance exam with the highest score, and ranked first in the judge appointment exam—a record worthy of an elite among elites. In the “special skills” section, he listed “ranking first in the entire school” and “providing legal counsel,” showcasing the abilities of the rookie legal professional and raising expectations for his performance. The remark, “If this is truly Judge Kim Sang Geun’s order, then I have to survive,” shows Jo Philip’s determination and his willingness to accept the situation with humility. Attention is on why Jo Philip, who dreamed of becoming a judge, is starting work at a fried chicken restaurant instead of a courtroom, and what connection Judge Kim Sang Geun, who sent him there, might have with Mr. Shin. The stills show Jo Philip’s bewilderment as he begins working at the fried chicken restaurant just before launching his legal career. Dressed neatly in a suit, he carries the demeanor of a legal professional, while in another moment, wearing an apron and packaging fried chicken, he displays the awkward expression of a rookie employee trying to adapt to reality. Jo Philip is set to begin a journey of growth as he witnesses everything from small, ongoing neighborhood disputes in daily life outside the courtroom to real social issues. “Shin’s Project” is set to premiere on September 15 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

Chun Woo Hee Transforms Into A Management Team Leader In New Drama “My Youth”

JTBC’s upcoming Friday drama “My Youth” has unveiled the first glimpse of Chun Woo Hee in character! “My Youth” is a romance drama that tells the story of Sunwoo Hae (Song Joong Ki), who begins to live an ordinary life later than most people, and Sung Je Yeon (Chun Woo Hee), who must disrupt her first love’s tranquility for her own success. The stills of Sung Je Yeon show her as a management team leader, far removed from the life plan of a model student whose days once revolved entirely around college entrance exams. Never letting her phone out of sight, Sung Je Yeon wears a warm smile, but her sharp eyes reveal the passion of a seasoned manager. A bulldozer when it comes to speaking her mind, Sung Je Yeon still excels at mental care, noticing even the smallest changes in actress Mo Tae Rin (Lee Joo Myung). In the still, she is seen talking with her, making eye contact as as the actress worries over her script, showing her kind and attentive side. For Sung Je Yeon, the time spent with Sunwoo Hae, who shone brighter than anyone during the gray, routine-filled days of her 19th year, was a welcome escape from a life lived strictly by the rules. Reuniting as adults, her first love, Sunwoo Hae, brings back emotions she had long forgotten. Sung Je Yeon’s radiant smile hints at the changes he has brought to her life. Chun Woo Hee said, “‘My Youth’ is a compelling story because it captures both love and personal growth. There are clumsy and painful moments, but that’s what makes it even more beautiful. It lets you look back on someone from your past with fondness.” She went on to describe her character, saying, “She’s someone who thinks love can be treated like work and dives in headfirst. Her clumsy attempts at love are endearing, and it will be fun to watch her emotions, feelings, and expressions slowly grow.” She added, “I tried to portray Sung Je Yeon’s changing feelings toward Sunwoo Hae with care.” “My Youth” is set to premiere on September 5 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will air two consecutive episodes every Friday. The drama will be available on Viki.

Heo Nam Jun Is A Privileged Young Man With Hidden Emotional Scars In New Drama “A Hundred Memories”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” has unveiled the first sneak peek of Heo Nam Jun’s character! Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic coming-of-age romance drama about the friendship between two young bus attendants, Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun). Han Jae Pil, the son of the president of Dongin Department Store, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, carrying both fierce defiance and deep loneliness. Among his classmates, he is nicknamed “the prince on a white horse” for his good looks and privileged background. But after losing his mother at a young age, and later experiencing his father’s remarriage, he was left with deep emotional scars. The memory of watching his mother die helplessly during his elementary school years was the decisive factor that led him to take up boxing. He hoped that, one day, he could land a decisive blow against his father. The stills reveal the contrasting sides of Jae Pil. In one, he gazes softly, like a first love from a romance comic. In another, he swallows his anger while holding back his emotions, creating a striking contrast. Finally, standing in the boxing ring, Jae Pil radiates a strong presence, showing the grit and survival instinct hidden beneath the shell of the “silver spoon prince.” As Jae Pil navigates his turbulent years, he meets Young Rye and Jong Hee, becoming a romantic who dives headfirst into love. The biggest question is where his heart will ultimately land after touching the hearts of both girls, who share a deep friendship. The production team said, “Jae Pil, played by Heo Nam Jun, is a multidimensional character who combines the traits of a wealthy prince and a rebellious troublemaker. His layered charm shines through in his gaze and speech, and his energy comes across fully in the boxing scenes. Heo Nam Jun’s subtle emotional performance will bring a timeless youth icon to life, so we ask for your interest and anticipation.” “A Hundred Memories” will premiere on September 13 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
