August Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from July 15 to August 15. BLACKPINK continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,943,448. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “JUMP,” “world tour,” and “BLINK,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “gather,” “surpass,” and “collaborate.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.27 percent positive reactions. Meanwhile, BTS maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,169,542 for August. IVE held onto their spot at third place with a brand reputation index of 5,193,674, marking a 35.87 percent increase in their score since July. Red Velvet rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,877,780, marking an 85.86 percent increase in their score since last month. Finally, SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,485,787, marking a 14.77 percent rise in their score since July. Check out the top 30 for this month below! Lee Jong Suk Announces Stops For Asia Fan Meeting Tour “With : Just Like This”

Actor Lee Jong Suk will be holding a fan meeting tour across seven cities in Asia. On August 14, his agency ACE FACTORY announced the fan meeting tour “With : Just Like This” through their official social media channels, unveiling the official event poster along with the news. The actor will kick off the tour in Seoul on September 14 before heading to NHK Hall in Tokyo on September 28 and Grand Cube Osaka in Osaka on September 30. He will then visit four other cities—Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, and Hong Kong—with specific dates and venues for those stops to be announced sequentially via ACE FACTORY’s official social media. The tour’s title, “With : Just Like This,” incorporates the official name of Lee Jong Suk’s fan club, With, and serves as a love letter to the fans who have always stood by his side. It expresses his heartfelt wish to continue being with his fans, just as they are now, and invites them to create cherished memories together. The accompanying poster, which captures Lee Jong Suk with a warm and friendly smile, heightens anticipation for the special moments he will share with his fans. Since his first fan meeting in 2014, Lee Jong Suk has consistently found ways to connect with fans. In 2023, he met fans in 11 countries through his world tour “Dear. August Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from July 5 to August 5. AHOF, the group formed on the survival show “Universe League,” shot to the top of this month’s list after seeing a whopping 1,779.94 percent increase in their brand reputation index since July—bringing their total score to 1,045,445.  High-ranking phrases in AHOF’s keyword analysis included “The Universe,” “Rendezvous,” and “fan-con,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “lovely,” “youthful,” and “refreshing.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 83.29 percent positive reactions. TWS took second place with a brand reputation index of 995,992, while KiiiKiii ranked third with a score of 914,670 and ILLIT followed in fourth with a score of 863,314. SEVENTEEN Makes Heartfelt Donation To UNESCO

SEVENTEEN has donated $250,000 to UNESCO in honor of International Youth Day! On August 13, PLEDIS Entertainment announced that the group made the donation on August 12, using proceeds from the “JOOPITER Presents: sacai x SEVENTEEN” charity auction. SEVENTEEN said, “Since our debut, we have grown by capturing the diverse moments of youth through music that reflects our sincere experiences and emotions, making the meaning of International Youth Day especially significant to us.” They added, “We send our support to all young people around the world who are still pursuing their dreams.” In 2023, SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop act invited to speak and perform at the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Stray Kids’ Changbin celebrated his birthday by giving back in a meaningful way! In honor of his birthday, Changbin donated 100 million won (approximately $71,970) to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul. The donation will help cover surgery and treatment costs as well as programs that support the psychological well-being of vulnerable children and adolescents who cannot afford care due to financial hardship. Changbin said in a statement released by his agency, “I am deeply grateful to be able to return the love of my fans on my birthday and to offer a small ray of hope to children,” and added, “I hope my gift can help the children recover and grow up healthy.” An official from Samsung Medical Center said, “Changbin’s warm heart and his donation of 100 million won will be a great source of strength for the young patients and their families. We will ensure the donation is used carefully for the children’s treatment and recovery.” Changbin has consistently supported charitable causes, using his influence to make a positive impact. In 2025, he and fellow Stray Kids members donated to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to aid wildfire recovery in South and North Gyeongsang.
