"BOYS II PLANET" Announces ATEEZ’s San As 3rd Planet Master
ATEEZ’s San will be joining Mnet’s “BOYS II PLANET” as the show’s third Planet Master! The second season of the hit survival show “BOYS PLANET,” which gave rise to the project group ZEROBASEONE, “BOYS II PLANET” is a global K-pop project where fans from around the world help produce and launch a top-tier boy group. Unlike most audition programs led by a single MC from start to finish, “BOYS II PLANET” takes on a new system where senior artists appear as special masters or planet masters, stepping in during missions or key moments to serve as mentors, role models, and sources of inspiration for the trainees. Following Ong Seong Wu and Jo Yuri, San now joins the lineup as the third Planet Master. He will also take the stage as MC for the upcoming second Survivor Announcement Ceremony, where the fate of 48 contestants hangs in the balance. Lee Kyu Hyung Goes Undercover As Deliveryman To Take Down Gang In New Film “Boss”
The upcoming film “Boss” has unveiled new stills of Lee Kyu Hyung in character! “Boss” is an action-comedy film that follows the unexpected turn of events when the top contenders for the boss position of Sikgupa—the largest organization in the city of Yongdu—each fight to give up the role in pursuit of their own personal dreams, putting the group’s future at risk. Lee Kyu Hyung plays Tae Gyu, an undercover cop who poses as a deliveryman for the Chinese restaurant Mimiru, aiming to bring down Sikgupa. In the newly released still, Tae Gyu is at Mimiru, answering an order call with a serious expression. The scene captures his full immersion as a deliveryman, while also sparking curiosity about his relationship with Soon Tae (Jo Woo Jin), the gang’s second-in-command and Mimiru’s head chef. Another still shows him aiming a gun at someone while on high alert, building tension and raising questions about whether he can keep his undercover identity hidden, secure his place as the Sikgupa boss’s right-hand man, and succeed in the investigation. “Boss” is slated for release in October.

“My Daughter Is a Zombie” shows no signs of slowing down at the Korean box office! According to the Korean Film Council, as of 7 p.m. KST on August 24, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” had recorded a total of 5,001,680 moviegoers. The film was first released on July 30, meaning that it took less than 26 days to surpass 5 million moviegoers. “My Daughter Is a Zombie,” which previously achieved the biggest opening of any Korean comedy film in history and overtook the Hollywood movie “F1” to become the biggest box office hit of 2025 in South Korea, is the only film to reach the milestone so far this year. It is also the first film to hit the 5 million mark since the “Veteran” sequel “I, the Executioner,” which reached the milestone in September 2024. Additionally, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” topped the box office for 23 consecutive days—the longest No. 1 streak of any film this year. On August 23, the popular tvN variety show aired a sneak peek of next week’s episode, which will feature the three ZEROBASEONE members as guests. The preview begins with Zhang Hao promising to show the cast what he’s got, then showing off his moves by dancing to RIIZE’s “Boom Boom Bass.” Zhang Hao also unleashes his charms on host Boom, blowing him a kiss and holding his hand. Next, Sung Han Bin reveals that he considers Moon Se Yoon a role model and wants to follow in his footsteps. However, Moon Se Yoon winds up being slightly disappointed by their differing preferences in food. Finally, Han Yu Jin innocently asks Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon if she’s the youngest member of the “Amazing Saturday” cast, leading the other cast members to joke that he’s good at buttering up his superiors.
