Go Ah Sung, Byun Yo Han, And Moon Sang Min’s New Film “Pavane” Reveals Key Reasons To Tune In

Go Ah Sung, Byun Yo Han, And Moon Sang Min’s New Film “Pavane” Reveals Key Reasons To Tune In

Netflix’s new film “Pavane” has unveiled key points to watch ahead of its release today! Based on the best-selling novel “Pavane for a Dead Princess,” “Pavane” tells the story of three young adults struggling to love themselves. As these emotionally closed-off individuals find solace in each other’s company and slowly become a ray of light for one another, they ultimately learn to face life and love again. Here are three key highlights of the film! 1. The quiet yet heartfelt comfort and relatability conveyed through the trio’s coming-of-age journey Mi Jung (Go Ah Sung), Yo Han (Byun Yo Han), and Gyeong Rok (Moon Sang Min)—each carrying emotional wounds that prevent them from loving even themselves—the film paints a poignant portrait of youth navigating a harsh reality. As the three naturally grow closer and slowly rediscover light in their lives together, the story promises a tender depiction of youth and healing. Director Lee Jong Pil shared, “I hoped the film would hold the feelings people have about love and youth,” adding that “Pavane” delivers a story that is both sweet and bittersweet, offering empathy and gentle consolation to young people forced to give up dreams and love in the face of reality. 2. Chemistry between Go Ah Sung, Byun Yo Han, and Moon Sang Min Go Ah Sung, known for her stable and delicate acting, plays Mi Jung, a woman who hides herself from others’ gaze. After meeting Gyeong Rok, the first person to treat her without prejudice, Mi Jung gradually begins to change. Byun Yo Han takes on the role of Yo Han, a free-spirited and unpredictable character—at times lighthearted yet serious, warm yet distant—whose layered personality comes alive through the actor’s signature depth. Moon Sang Min plays Gyeong Rok, a young man who gave up his dream of becoming a temporary dancer and now faces harsh reality. Drawn to Mi Jung after their chance encounter, Gyeong Rok begins moving toward his stalled dreams and future once again, portraying the clumsy yet sincere emotions of youth. 3. Director Lee Jong Pil’s delicate direction Previously known for capturing the struggles and hopes of youth in films such as “Samjin Company English Class” and “Escape,” the director has shared that he had long dreamed of creating a romance film since his teenage years. Unlike the original novel, which unfolds in a first-person perspective, the film reconstructs the story through the viewpoints of Mi Jung, Yo Han, and Gyeong Rok, presenting a more layered portrayal of love, friendship, and growth. A diverse soundtrack spanning classical, rock, jazz, and Korean pop—along with visual motifs of light such as auroras, sunsets, and rainbows—enhances the film’s distinctive melodramatic atmosphere. “Pavane” will be released on Netflix on February 20 at 5 p.m. KST.

BTS’s V Responds To Messages With Min Hee Jin Being Used As Court Evidence

BTS’s V Responds To Messages With Min Hee Jin Being Used As Court Evidence

BTS member V has spoken out regarding his KakaoTalk messages being submitted as evidence in the legal dispute between HYBE and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. Previously, on the morning of February 12, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of Min Hee Jin in her legal battle with HYBE concerning the exercise of a put option (stock purchase claim right) valued at approximately 25.5 billion won (approximately $17.7 million). On February 20, Sports Kyunghyang reported that, according to the first-trial judgment document from the shareholder agreement lawsuit between HYBE and Min Hee Jin, the court determined that Min Hee Jin’s suspicions alleging that ILLIT had copied NewJeans constituted a legitimate expression of opinion. During the proceedings, KakaoTalk conversations exchanged between V and Min Hee Jin were revealed to have been included as part of the evidence. According to the report, V had sent Min Hee Jin a message that read, “(About how plagiarism accusations always come up and are never absent) Yeah… I know, right. I also looked at it and thought, ‘Ah, this is similar…’” Following the report, V personally addressed the matter via Instagram. Sharing a screenshot of the article on his Instagram Story, he stated: This was part of a private, everyday conversation I shared out of empathy because she was an acquaintance of mine. I had absolutely no intention of taking either side. However, I feel very taken aback that this conversation was submitted as evidence without my consent.

Watch: Ha Jung Woo Takes On A Dangerous Operation To Protect His Family And Building In "Mad Concrete Dreams" Teaser

Watch: Ha Jung Woo Takes On A Dangerous Operation To Protect His Family And Building In "Mad Concrete Dreams" Teaser

Upcoming drama “Mad Concrete Dreams” has unveiled a new teaser! “Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama that follows a struggling landlord who becomes entangled in crime to protect his family and property. While he achieves the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to participate in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real. The newly released teaser video opens with Ki Soo Jong (Ha Jung Woo), an “all-in” building owner who has taken out loans by “pulling in everything, down to his very soul,” desperately pleading, “Please, just let me pay off the debt on my building.” It hints that an ominous, unusual crisis is closing in around his property. When he is desperate, his best friend Min Hwal Seong (Kim Jun Han) proposes, “How long are you going to live being looked down on? I’ll get you in,” delivering a loaded, meaningful line that suggests he has an ulterior motive. In need of money, Ki Soo Jong even takes out a credit loan in his wife Kim Seon’s (Im Soo Jung) name, which leads to conflict with the furious Kim Seon. Growing increasingly anxious as he checks the balance of his overdrawn account, Ki Soo Jong steels himself and resolutely tells himself, “Get a grip. You can do this,” before launching an operation to protect his building. Then, a staged kidnapping that Ki Soo Jong becomes involved in serves as the spark, foreshadowing unpredictable events and heightening curiosity. “Mad Concrete Dreams” is set to premiere on March 14 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Until then, watch Ha Jung Woo in “Road to Boston”:
