“BOYS II PLANET” contestants Chuei Li Yu and Kang Woo Jin have been confirmed to debut as a team! Previously in January, it was reported that Chuei Li Yu, Kang Woo Jin, and Jang Haneum were in discussions to launch a spin-off group from “BOYS II PLANET” with FNC Entertainment handling management. On March 10, FNC Entertainment announced, “After extensive discussions, Chuei Li Yu and Kang Woo Jin have confirmed their debut as a two-member duo. They plan to return with high-quality music and performances that live up to the expectations of fans who have supported them unwaveringly.” Chuei Li Yu and Kang Woo Jin appeared on Mnet’s survival program “BOYS II PLANET,” which concluded last September, and drew attention with their distinct charms and solid skills. According to YG Entertainment on March 9, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s second mini album title track “WE GO UP” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube at around 2:01 p.m. KST that day. The achievement comes approximately 150 days after the video was released on October 10 last year. Notably, the music video had already signaled its massive success early on by becoming the fastest K-pop music video released in 2025 to reach 100 million views. “WE GO UP” is BABYMONSTER’s fifth official music video to surpass 200 million views on YouTube following “BATTER UP,” “SHEESH,” “DRIP,” and “FOREVER.” Congratulations to BABYMONSTER!

BLACKPINK has just scored their third consecutive top 10 entry on the Billboard 200! On March 8 local time, Billboard announced that BLACKPINK’s new album “DEADLINE” had debuted at No. 8 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. “DEADLINE” also debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, meaning it was the second best-selling album of the week in the United States. According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “DEADLINE” earned a total of 52,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on March 5. The album’s total score consisted of 41,000 traditional album sales and 11,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units—which translates to 11.46 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. “DEADLINE” is BLACKPINK’s third consecutive album to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and their fifth chart entry overall, following “Square Up” (which peaked at No. 40), “Kill This Love” (No. 24), “THE ALBUM” (No. 2), and “BORN PINK” (No. 1). Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on March 7! ATEEZ’s new mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” topped the World Albums chart for the third week in a row, in addition to spending a third week on the Billboard 200 at No. 45. ENHYPEN once again landed a total of three entries on the World Albums chart this week. Their latest mini album “THE SIN : VANISH” maintained its position at No. 2, while their previous albums “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” and “DESIRE : UNLEASH” remained unmoving on the World Albums chart at No. 23 and No. 25 respectively. Stray Kids also charted a total six of albums this week: their latest album “DO IT” held steady at No. 3, followed by “KARMA” at No. 7, “合 (HOP)” at No. 11, “ATE” at No. 12, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” at No. 18, and “ROCK-STAR” at No. 24. BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” held onto its spot at No. 4 on the World Albums chart this week, while their 2020 Japanese album “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” re-entered the chart at No. 10. Meanwhile, CORTIS’s debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” rounded out its 25th week on the chart at No. 5. NewJeans’ “Get Up” climbed back up to No. 14 in its 129th week on the chart, followed by ILLIT’s “bomb” at No. 15 in its 36th week. Despite not having yet been released physically in the United States during this week’s tracking period, IVE’s new album “REVIVE+” debuted at No. 19 on the World Albums chart based solely on digital performance, without any physical sales.
