ENHYPEN, aespa, ILLIT, And SEVENTEEN's DxS Earn Platinum And Gold Certifications In Japan
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications! Both ENHYPEN’s new Korean mini album “THE SIN : VANISH” and aespa’s Japanese debut single album “HOT MESS” were certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan each. Meanwhile, ILLIT’s Japanese debut single album “Toki Yo Tomare” and SEVENTEEN’s DxS (DK x Seungkwan)’s Korean unit debut mini album “Serenade” were both certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped in Japan each. ATEEZ Tops 5 Billboard Charts With "Adrenaline" And "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4"
ATEEZ’s latest release is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts! Earlier this week, Billboard announced that ATEEZ’s new mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” had debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 as the best-selling album of the week in the United States. “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” earned a total of 200,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on February 12, marking not only the biggest week achieved by any K-pop artist thus far in 2026 but also the group’s biggest week in the U.S. to date. Billboard has now revealed more of ATEEZ’s achievements on this week’s charts. The group topped no less than five different Billboard charts, including the World Digital Song Sales chart, where three of ATEEZ’s new songs from “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” entered the top 10. The group’s title track “Adrenaline” debuted at No. 1, followed by “NASA” at No. 7 and “Ghost” at No. 10. “Adrenaline” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart and No. 19 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart this week. Additionally, “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” debuted at No. 1 on not only Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, but also the World Albums chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart. Meanwhile, ATEEZ re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 3, marking their 47th non-consecutive week on the chart. Congratulations to ATEEZ!
Stray Kids' "S-Class" Becomes Their 6th MV To Hit 300 Million Views
Stray Kids has hit the 300 million mark with another music video! On February 19 at around 2:10 a.m KST, Stray Kids’ music video for their 2023 hit “S-Class” surpassed 300 million views on YouTube, making it their sixth music video to reach the milestone after “God’s Menu,” “Back Door,” “Thunderous,” “MANIAC,” and “LALALALA.” Stray Kids originally released the music video for “S-Class” on June 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the song just over two years, eight months, and 16 days to hit 300 million views. The IFPI has released its year-end Global Artist Chart for 2025! On February 18, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)—a non-profit organization that represents the music recording industry worldwide—revealed its annual ranking of last year’s top recording artists. The Global Artist Chart ranks recording artists by their commercial performance, which is measured by global streams, digital downloads, and physical sales across their entire body of work (not exclusive to new material released in the calendar year). Stray Kids took No. 2 on the Global Artist Chart for 2025, marking their highest ranking on the year-end chart to date. Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN made the year-end chart at No. 14. February Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from January 18 to February 18. BTS continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 9,909,639, marking a 29.28 percent increase in their score since January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Gwanghwamun,” “Busan concert,” and “world tour,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “make a comeback,” “stream live,” and “buy.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.95 percent positive reactions. IVE rose to second place for February with a brand reputation index of 7,665,293, marking a 63.15 percent increase in their score since last month. BLACKPINK took third place with a brand reputation index of 5,259,160, while SEVENTEEN climbed to fourth with a score of 3,583,141. Finally, EXO came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 3,560,048 for February.
