KATSEYE's "Gabriela" Re-Enters Billboard Hot 100 + Achieves Their Highest Ranking Yet

Two months after its release, KATSEYE’s “Gabriela” is back on Billboard’s Hot 100! On August 19 local time, Billboard announced that “Gabriela” had returned to the Hot 100 following KATSEYE’s recent performance at Lollapalooza. In its fourth non-consecutive week on the chart, “Gabriela” re-entered the Hot 100 at a new peak of No. 76—marking KATSEYE’s highest ranking on the U.S. chart to date. “Gabriela” also rose to No. 21 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 24 on the Global 200 in its eighth week on both charts, while “Gnarly” jumped to No. 80 on the Global 200 and No. 83 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart in its 15th week. Finally, KATSEYE climbed back up to No. 52 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 11th overall week on the chart.  Congratulations to KATSEYE on their new personal record!

TWICE Enters Top 40 Of UK's Official Singles Chart For 1st Time

TWICE has broken into the top 40 of the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart! This week, the Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s version of the “KPop Demon Hunters” song “Takedown”—which is credited to TWICE on the Official Singles Chart—had jumped to a new peak of No. 35. Meanwhile, TWICE’s 2024 hit “Strategy,” which is also included on the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack, climbed to a new peak of No. 45 in its third consecutive week on the Official Singles Chart. BLACKPINK's "JUMP" Rises To New Peak On Billboard Pop Radio Airplay Chart + Spends 5th Week On Hot 100

BLACKPINK’s latest single is “jumping” to new heights on U.S. radio! On August 19 local time, Billboard revealed that BLACKPINK’s digital single “JUMP” was now spending its fifth consecutive week on the Hot 100, its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States. For the week ending on August 23, “JUMP”—which initially debuted at No. 28 last month—stayed strong at No. 74. “JUMP” is BLACKPINK’s third song to chart for five weeks on the Hot 100, overtaking their 2019 hit “Kill This Love” (which spent four weeks on the chart six years ago) as their third longest-charting track. The only BLACKPINK songs to chart longer to date are “Ice Cream” (which spent eight weeks on the chart in 2020) and “Pink Venom” (six weeks in 2022). Meanwhile, “JUMP” held steady at No. 3 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 7 on the Global 200 in its fifth week on both charts. Finally, “JUMP” rose to a new peak of No. 22 in its fifth week on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States. August Individual Rookie Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual rookie idols! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idols, using big data collected from July 7 to August 7. Hearts2Hearts’ Ian topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 316,581, marking a 5.37 percent increase in her score since July. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “center beauty,” “ceremonial first pitch,” and “Gayo Daejeon,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “innocent,” “pretty,” and “refreshing.” Ian’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.05 percent positive reactions. Meanwhile, ILLIT’s Wonhee held onto her spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 252,413. KiiiKiii’s Jiyu maintained her position at third place with a brand reputation index of 231,546, and ILLIT’s Minju came in at a close fourth with a score of 220,265. Finally, Hearts2Hearts’ Jiwoo rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 214,496, marking a 44.26 percent rise in her score since July. Check out the top 30 for this month below!
