August Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from July 16 to August 16. BTS’s Jin topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,961,133, marking a 3.54 percent increase in his score since July. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “world tour,” “Don’t Say You Love Me,” and “concert,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “outstanding,” “sold out,” and “expand.” Jin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.30 percent positive reactions. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,414,777. marking a 3.25 percent rise in his score since last month. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 4,390,489, marking a 4.69 percent increase in his score since July. Meanwhile, BTS’s Jimin came in at a very close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,385,053. Finally, BTS’s V rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,926,662, marking a 36.18 percent increase in his score since July. Check out the top 30 for this month below! EVNNE Takes 2nd Win For "How Can I Do" On "Music Bank"
EVNNE has won their second music show trophy for their new title track “How Can I Do”! KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” did not air a new episode on August 15, but the music show still announced this week’s winner on its official website. EVNNE took the win with a total of 9,335 points on the Music Bank K-Chart from August 8 to 10. KiiiKiii’s “DANCING ALONE” came in second place with a score of 4,054, while BLACKPINK’s “JUMP” ranked third with a score of 3,737. Congratulations to EVNNE!

Before going their separate ways in November, PURPLE KISS will be releasing their first-ever English album at the end of the month. On August 14 at midnight KST, PURPLE KISS dropped the first teaser for their upcoming English-language album “OUR NOW,” which is due out on August 31. Earlier this month, RBW announced that PURPLE KISS would be disbanding in November after four years together. However, the agency also stated that in the months ahead of their official disbandment, the group would be releasing an English album, promoting in Japan, touring the United States, and holding a concert in Korea.
