August Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from July 15 to August 15. BLACKPINK continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,943,448. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “JUMP,” “world tour,” and “BLINK,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “gather,” “surpass,” and “collaborate.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.27 percent positive reactions. Meanwhile, BTS maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,169,542 for August. IVE held onto their spot at third place with a brand reputation index of 5,193,674, marking a 35.87 percent increase in their score since July. Red Velvet rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,877,780, marking an 85.86 percent increase in their score since last month. Finally, SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,485,787, marking a 14.77 percent rise in their score since July. Check out the top 30 for this month below!
