Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic coming-of-age romance drama about the friendship between two young bus attendants, Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun). Kim Jung Hyun will play the role of Jung Hyun, an unexpectedly innocent third-generation chaebol heir who has lived a privileged life. A remake of the French series “La Mante,” “Queen Mantis” is a crime thriller starring Go Hyun Jung as Jung Yi Shin, a famous serial killer nicknamed “The Mantis” who brutally murdered five men 20 years ago and has been imprisoned ever since. When a new serial killer emerges, copying The Mantis’s distinctive style, the police approach Jung Yi Shin for her assistance in solving the case. Viewership ratings for KBS 2TV’s “My Girlfriend is the Man!” rose slightly ahead of the final two weeks of its run. On August 14, the romantic comedy enjoyed a modest increase in viewership for its latest episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the eighth episode of “My Girlfriend is the Man!” scored an average nationwide rating of 1.1 percent, marking a slight rise from the previous night’s 0.9 percent. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man. ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha stars as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun (played by OH MY GIRL’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon.
