Get ready for a heart-fluttering romance with “Boyfriend on Demand”! Helmed by director Kim Jung Sik of “Work Later, Drink Now” and “Not Others,” “Boyfriend on Demand” is a romantic comedy that follows Seo Mi Rae (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), an overworked webtoon producer who subscribes to a virtual dating simulation service to experience the dates of her dreams. JTBC’s upcoming Friday series “Shining” has unveiled new posters! “Shining” is a drama about young people who once shared a world of their own and gradually become each other’s source of trust and the light that guides their lives. The main poster shows a tender moment between Yeon Tae Seo (Park Jinyoung) and Mo Eun Ah (Kim Min Ju), sitting side by side on the subway. Bathed in the bright sunlight streaming through the window, they exchange warm looks, creating a feeling that is stronger and deeper than in the past. The affection between them, unchanged after more than a decade, brings a new kind of excitement, different from before. In particular, the phrase, “There are things that apply only to you and me. Song Kang In Talks For New Romance Drama
Song Kang may be joining the cast of a new romance drama! On February 24, Sports Chosun reported that Song Kang will star as the lead of the new drama “White Scandal” (literal translation). In response to the reports, Song Kang’s agency Namoo Actors shared, “Song Kang received an offer to star in ‘White Scandal,’ and he is reviewing it.” Based on a popular web novel of the same name, “White Scandal” follows the story of Ji Eun Seol, a former rising child actress who fell from grace after taking the fall for her older brother’s crimes. Unable to give up on her dreams, she continues to work as a road manager when she meets Dan Yi Hyuk, who was at the center of the past incident, signing up for a contractual relationship while approaching the hidden truth. The drama will be written by scriptwriter Kim Ga Eun of “Call It Love” and director Kim Chul Gyu of “Flower of Evil.” Song Kang has reportedly been offered the role of Dan Yi Hyuk, who is South Korea’s biggest top star as well as NB Group’s illegitimate child. In order to protect his mother’s final wishes and to be pushed out of the running for succession, he starts a contractual relationship with Ji Eun Seol. Yoo Yeon Seok will be making bold transformations in “Phantom Lawyer”! “Phantom Lawyer” is a quirky yet heartwarming legal drama that follows the adventures of Shin I Rang (Yoo Yeon Seok), a lawyer who can see ghosts, and elite attorney Han Na Hyun (Esom) as they resolve the lingering grievances of their very unusual clients—ghosts—through the law. Shin I Rang opens his law office in Room 501 of Okcheon Building, which was once a shaman’s house. From the moment he moves in, his life takes an unexpected turn: he begins seeing ghosts and even experiences possession, forcing him to resolve the grudges of the dead. The newly released photos depict Shin I Rang’s various transformations. From appearing to be like an angry middle-aged man with his hands in his pockets to a cold and rational scientist, Shin I Rang wears many different faces. Another photo of him behind the scenes taking a selfie while wearing women’s hanbok (Korean traditional attire) creates excitement for the various characters he will take on. Seeing the sudden changes in his way of speech, gaze, and movements, Shin I Rang touches his face in shock as if to confirm what’s real. Viewers are curious to find out what kind of ghosts will appear in the story, creating both a hilarious yet mysterious atmosphere.
