No Tail to Tell
오늘부터 인간입니다만
Eun Ho is a cynical nine-tailed fox who grants wishes for a living — and is determined never to become human. She is from Myohyangsan Mountain having spent centuries cultivating herself to become human — until she decides she doesn’t want to be. But when a sudden accident involving Kang Si Yeol, a narcissistic yet warm-hearted star soccer player, turns her into an ordinary human, one wish gone wrong sparks a magical, chaotic romance neither of them ever asked for. Love was never part of the plan. Si Yeol is the central striker for Thames FC. He is a divisive talent — ill-suited to team play, yet so dominant he can carry even a relegation-bound club to a title. His life is stripped of glamour and defined by routine. That balance is disrupted when a mysterious business card, once given to him by Eun Ho, resurfaces — nine years later. Thrown together by fate (and a wish gone sideways), Eun Ho and Si Yeol tumble into a push-and-pull, love-hate relationship filled with snappy one-liners, chaotic misunderstandings, and the kind of sparks they swear they don’t feel. As the supernatural collides with real-life emotions, the two discover that the hardest rules to follow are the ones their hearts keep breaking. Choosing a carefully balanced life over humanity, Eun Ho's orderly existence begins to unravel when she crosses paths with Si Yeol.

“No Tail to Tell” — A Tale That Will Grow Beautifully With Each Episode!! Loved the first two episodes—perfect pilot plots. They smartly laid the foundation for the characters and their relationships.Eunho being sly, prickly, and self-centered perfectly aligns with her foxy nature, and her love for money and “enjoy life at all costs” attitude fits beautifully with her character synopsis. Siyeol’s hard work and discipline have shaped who he is today, and even his slightly narcissistic tendencies are subtly hinted at in the pilot, exactly as they should be.At this point in the story, the leads are practically strangers or more like a client- business owner pair—so expecting blooming chemistry right away doesn’t make sense at all.And the most important point: first and foremost, "Eunho" has to become “HUMAN” to truly understand human life and emotions—to figure out why humans feel love in the first place and how these emotions constantly shape, confuse, and mess with them in everyday life (sad human life 😭). Only after that will the real chemistry come into the picture, growing naturally alongside their relationship and Eunho's normal human life.I have high hopes this show will grow more beautiful with each episode. Recently, dramas often start with a bang but then lose their spark midway or mess up the ending and eventually get dropped. So a start like this feels more settling to me personally—it genuinely makes me look forward to future episodes and how the story will unfold. Now, coming to the acting: Kim Hye Yoon is absolutely slaying as Eunho. Her dialogue delivery, diction, expressions, and attitude for a sly, cunning, self-centered, arrogant, long-lived fox are just on point. And those fits she’s serving are the cherry on top. Lomon is also doing a great job and complements the character well.Looking forward to the upcoming episodes. And will definitely update my review after the show ends.
I am forcing myself to watch I think I am being hasty, dropping it so early but, I'm literally forcing myself to watch solely because I like the cast so much but, they're not doing a good job of keeping my interest.I have watched plenty of Gumiho dramas in the past and loved all of them. The quirky mischievous kangchi in Gu family book, Sweet, innocent and childnlike Gumiho in My girlfriend is a gumiho, elegant gentleman Shin wooyeo in my roomate is a gumiho, and the best in my opinion Tale of the nine tailed 1 and 2 gave us all sorts of Gumihos and creatures alike, some a little evil, some not so much...but the Gumiho in this drama is insufferable, she's selfish, rude, childish and an absolute pain to watch, to make matters worse she's played by Kim hye yoon! for gods sakes!! Do you know how bad a character has to be to make Hyeyoon unbearable to watch??? Bad, god awful bad!! I cannot stand Eunho for one second, and I know I understand she's traumatized , she's got issues that make behave this way and she's the main character so she's bound to develop, but I don't have the patience to wait, I can't. Maybe if by the time it finishes airing I hear that it got better I could give it another chance but for now, it's just upsetting me.
Not your ordinary gumiho story I am not a fan of romcom or fantasy genre but i starting watching this because im attracted with the idea of MZ gumiho that's out of ordinary portrayed in common tell. So far the story is fast paced, catchy and colorful fashionista while making people anticipating the development of all characters. Im anticipating more plot development as it is only 2 episodes coming out. Definitely im seated!
